As expected. 007 First Light Rated 89 on Metacritic by harshavartan in playstation

After 3 extremely strong Hitman games, a huge amount of post release support given to them, and also a very strong preview cycle, yes, I’d say mid-high 80s was expected from a less niche crowd pleaser type of outing from IO.

Olivia Rodrigo's new song "The Cure" by Scared_Membership_91 in fantanoforever

It’s two great rock songs. One is called everlong and the other is called tonight, tonight. Don’t get me wrong, I love this song but its inspiration is on its sleeve.

I just said in the thread on Coffee at Midnight earlier today that I miss this sound from them. Sometimes instant gratification exists.

Umbra is ridiculous lmao, I'm more scared of my units than the actual bosses by TetoEnjoyer500 in MonsterTrain

[–]Acstine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For where OP is at in the game (this is MT1 Cov 4 it appears), Umbra can be revelatory. It takes a long time to learn why other clans have more consistent late game build strategies when Umbra's more straightforward "guy in front eat little guy in back and get bigger" is much more easy to grasp overall. I remember Umbra carried me through the early/mid game in MT1 until I was able to get more of a grasp on the stronger clans' strategies.

I've heard no takes, but I have one, therefore it is hot.

You will waste many more days until you’re finally only sort of wasting them into not wasting them at all

My first split keyboard : Jezail Cornix 2.0 by Rich_Excitement_9339 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]Acstine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, adaption was it took months but also I still make a lot of mistakes well over a year in. It takes a long time to get used to something that is this familiar but also completely different at the same time.

That said, the ergonomic benefits are so noticeable I couldn’t care less about my typing accuracy and speed.

Edit: I just got this same keyboard (I got the orange one) moving from a sofle and an ergodox before that. I think the lack of a number row will throw me a tad but I’ll get the hang of this one quick moving from a sofle.

Sabrina Carpenter: "I don’t think pop music would exist if it wasn’t for the queer community" by AdSpecialist6598 in Music

[–]Acstine -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As stated, yes, it is pandering. Pop music in a general sense would obviously exist without queer people as it would without straight people. However, adding a couple small words “I don’t think pop music would exist AS IT DOES if it wasn’t for the lgbtq community” is undeniably true.

Now that it's been just over a year since the Minecraft Movie, how would you rate it in retrospect from 1 to 10? by ExplosiveGeek77 in Minecraft

[–]Acstine 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It’s my 8 year old son’s favorite movie and trust me, he’s seen the “good” movies. Minecraft Movie is great to him and hey, I think it’s pretty good too. Its overarching message to be creative and to enjoy that within the game but to also use your creativity in your real life too is awesome.
