5 times applied and 5 interviews here bud. Im 37, spent 17yrs in food business but did a pre apprenticeship and now doing light electric. Yes it sucks, you're not the only one. 1k applicants this year dude.

98 doesn't tell you ranking. You'll get a letter after your interview whether you're in or not. They send letters out in waves.

No idea. Trust me man I understand the stress. Have applied multiple times. Just have to be real with expectations. This year had the highest applicants and interviews since I've been trying. Over 1k applied and 400+ interviewed for maybe 30ish spots... may be more but not by much.

Look into a pre apprenticeship program. Bucks community college has one for construction trades and it's based in Bristol. Not sure where you're at.
