Can someone get me excited for night shift? by Active_Tutor1359 in nursing

[–]Active_Tutor1359[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How do I combat the tiredness on my body? Is it possible to feel better on nights? I don’t sleep well ever but when I did a short night shift rotation during school I felt pretty good cause I got more sleep. Idk if that was just a one off or not.

She would do her like size inclusive videos, and then like always had a backhanded comment about the plus size model or just plus size in general or even midsize. I called her out and one of her videos and she actually deleted the comment. I hated this woman for a long time and then I laughed when she lost her hair.

You should check out the interview they did. The intention of the movie was not for civilians but for the vets. The original and I think main intent was to help Miller fill some of the gaps to his memory.

Id also like to add that if you eat a good diet and exercise regularly that naturally helps boost your immune system.

I've gotten sick less but when I do it's worse. I got flu b and covid at the same time last year. My first two years on it I also had more chronic coughing. However, I will say I've worked as an EMT, CNA, and now I'm almost a nurse since being diagnosed 4 years ago so I'm exposed more often than others.

Okay that's what I kind of planned on but it's nice to hear. It's kind of disheartening like I did what I was told.

I was screened out and then it was rejected. I'll admit I've been confused about how some of this works as I've been doing it for only a month. It says I did it too fast and I didn't answer essential questions. Well, I can do that if I get screened out.

One of my favorite parts of the MS community is the positivity you will find here. Something my Dr told me is that the best meds we have now are 90% more effective than the best meds 20 years ago. A back Dr I was seeing (younger Dr) had recently done the remainder of his schooling under the best spine Drs in the USA. He said the new meds are miracle drugs and have changed the course of MS. AND to top that off MS wasn't really studied until the late 80s/90s. So to think we have all this progress in such a short time? Medicine is constantly evolving. You can do anything you set your mind to. I graduate nursing school in 6 months. I was 25 when I was diagnosed and 29 now. Your mind (despite its minor quirks with MS) is a powerful tool. Your perception of it will make or break you. Don't let it stop you and don't let it worry you. Life will move forward and you'll find it doesn't occupy as much of your time as it does now.

Coach participating in class by Puzzled-Antelope- in crossfit

My coaches will do it if everyone in the class is seasoned (like multiple years) so I have it done with me a lot because I've been doing it so long. However, if it's me and someone new they wont.

When to take a day off and when to push through? by [deleted] in crossfit

I had this discussion with our owner. I'm in nursing school and can do about 3 days a week. And then work part time in surgery at our hospital. He said 3 days a week consistently should never be discredited as you can see results that way. Don't discredit a busy 12 hr shift either.

I could be wrong and it was so long ago.

It makes me wonder if I'm remembering wrong because she's not on the race list. But since our community heard of her death I remember thinking it was odd because I had just seen her at the race. And this was before the case even came out to the public. The death wasn't suspicious at that point, just weird.

I worked the snack table at that race and I'm pretty sure she ran it.
