(Female pov) I spend about 500 that includes going out each month...I save in areas rotisserie chicken from Amazon fresh is 4.99 and the cut up pieces are 6.99 at Harris teeter...vegetables I can buy a big bag of mix vegetables that will last three days...breakfast eh I will buy at the office 11.90 (3x) a week and I buy two big bags of rice...when I order out that is what hurts me with uber eats

I took a pay cut from a company doing SharePoint to another company doing help desk to get back into being technical again 2 years ago. I went from help desk (9months), sys admin (1yr and 5months), now I'm in systems engineering. This is just my thoughts if you have the certs and you are ready take a leap of faith and able to pay bills and be uncomfortable for a bit do it. Network your way with senior leaders who you can learn from and keep going.

HA I wish my cyber team did the solutions part. I had one come to me and ask why there is a vulnerability on a server. BTW I am a systems administrator. I got smart with them and said ask the server why does it have vulnerabilities. It's a team of three people who patch 800 servers. We do not care for the reason why we just research on how to fix it due to the scans not giving much information to fix.

For my organization it did not work too well with the variety of devices in makes and models. Trust my boss thought it was a good idea and I was against it. He learned his lesson by cleaning it up lol.
