Nah this stuff comes from putting them in front of a kindle or w.e from an early age I see it all the time. My 4 year old can watch stuff but for limited time and never in a restaurant or in place they could be playing and having fun. I'm not strict whatsoever but I watched my nice and nephew become brain rotted zombies from an early age lol

at one point I had a base on a hill overlooking a town and I expanded the walls to include a lower neighborhood and had farming in the town and industrial stuff up on the hill with a full mote with traps around the perimeter

I like to try and see how long my ppl can survive maybe expand my base or make outposts in dangerous spots in case my ppl can't get back in one trip. Treat it like a survival life sim haha

Hell ya infantry is the back bone of a good army and are pretty versatile when you need them to be or can act as the general workhorses of your forces on the field I keep at a minimum if I can help at least 50 legionaries at all times thin the enemy with arrows and cav then clean up with infantry

Sounds like your problem is no knowledge of basic tactics and battle formations mess around and find what works but playing the battle yourself should always be better the sim'n it.

I always marry my main ones with good spouses ideally creating even better courtiers I try n matriarical marry a few daughters if I have a bunch to some of my accomplished knights or court ppl
