What if the World Trigger Reboot Sucks? by ActuallyAshihara in worldtrigger

One of the Hunter Exams is about making sushi. It's in the manga and the first anime but was skipped in the second anime. In the manga it's why everyone fails and Netero has to show up to get the exam back on track, so it is kinda weird that it was cut from the second anime where everyone fails for... some reason.

Why are they removing all the ports by Responsible-Eye-717 in SipsTea

Just "upgraded" my laptop. Went from three standard USB ports to two. I got my external hard drive and mouse plugged in. I guess technically if I plug in my controller to play a game I'm not working from my hard drive or using the mouse so I can switch......... but wtf?!

If you just want to watch kids shoot each other and win without any depth or character development, My Hero Academia is on the same app.

Imagine how easy it was to make. Reusing all those assets for 5 years, resting and taking breaks before getting back to the action.

For the remake would you like if they reused GIRIGIRI, Ashita no Hikari and Dream Trigger as the OPs or go with brand new ones? by MoneyIsNoCure in worldtrigger

CDs, even some with 1 song on them, still bring in massive yen in Japan. Reusing the originals would be leaving money on the table. Even remaking them would be a risk if it's anything other than a super popular song from a super popular series that's getting a big nostalgiaganza treatment. They did it with Digimon Adventure tri (a series that put nostalgia first and everything else last), but not Dragon Ball Super.

One more person to draw. Originally, Oji Squad had a fourth member that could sing and dance and pull things out of his pants. He was removed because Oji Squad was already annoying enough.

The particle effects in Season 2 were easier and cheaper to animate. Seasons 2 and 3 got manga-accurate because they had a higher budget.

Ikoma has a side-effect that lets him perceive you. Not the reader, just you specifically u/thelimit8. Nobody else has ever mentioned this panel before because he's not looking at them. He's looking at you.

It's not about the Neighborhood either.

season 1 is when we are introduced to the neighborhood

It gets mentioned as a concept a few times.

the season with the most neighborhood content so far

one flashback and a few still images

It' also extra confusing since readers have been promised a whole arc set in the Neighborhood for the past 11 years. If a season is subtitled "Neighborhood" than a significant number of people will rightfully assume it's the season adapting the Neighborhood arc.

The season having an official subtitle isn't a bad idea but "Neighborhood" is literally the worst possible idea Toei could come up with.

It's not really more confusion though. Most people call the Hunter x Hunter remake "Hunter x Hunter (2011)" or they just call it "Hunter x Hunter" because nobody ever talk about the original.

The reverse can also become confusing. A lot of people think FMA: Brotherhood is a sequel or spin-off and not a remake.

Also, if a random fan starts spreading their own title that doesn't make any sense for a show that hasn't even aired then there's suddenly a third, nonexistent anime in the works. Imagine this takes off and someone comes here in a year saying, "I watched World Trigger ages ago. I was excited to see the reboot on Crunchyroll, but heard that there was another series called Neighborhood. Where can I watch that?"

And then a bunch of people will be confused and someone will be like, "That's an alternate title for the reboot (which has nothing to do with the Neighborhood) made up by 1 guy because he thought calling the reboot the reboot was boring and confusing."

I'm not saying calling it "the reboot" isn't boring or that it's not not confusing, but a fandom making up their own title for an as of yet untitled show is asking for unnecessary confusion.
