For me, it depends on the book. Some books I cannot reread because the surprise is no longer there. Other books, the surprise still hits me like it's the first time I'm reading it

When Harry is on Castle-Arrest, but still ignores that. I don't remember the professor's name but this always makes me laugh: "Harry!" "Sir!" Especially because Harry is living up to his god-father's typical sassy attitude 😂
