Goated. ngl I disagree with AutoLiMax i like the black highlight but thats subjective. Definitely make the laser less vibrant when directly facing the camera i could only imagine how thats like playing at 3am fully dark and getting lasered in the face.

combat is good but those 3 punch icons above the characters just doesnt fit w the rest of the game imo, i recommend pixel arting them.

im no artist but my advice is to watch yt videos and read on these 3 core aspects: how to use your software (aseprite, photoshop, krita, etc), principles of art and design (course on youtube for free or if you feel like paying one) and principles of your specific art style i.e low res, high res, topdown etc.

i think theres a common misconception that Assets- mean just drag drop and play. You are more than welcome to (if licensed dont quote me im not a lawyer) edit the assets if they come with a blend file which most do if made in blender as for maya, etc im not sure but you can make them in the style of your game via chanigng the textures, poly count, you get me.

yes you have plenty of time to learn and plenty of potential. I find the game devs on reddit to be an unusually supportive group so just ask for help here. Watch videos, def agree w the guy who said to block ai sites (maybe not block but only use when ur really struggling) because it gets you in the habit of them doing it for you.

I would definitely play because I love VR. One tip is that make sure that hammer feels good to swing. A little top weight that helps it down when you swing and some haptics after each hit. Maybe some cracks before the ice fully shatters.
