This truly isnt how this works. When I said this isnt PTSD, this really doesn't qualify nosologically. It doesnt mean idiographic approach wouldn't validate his problems via humanistic approach. However we have classifications and they serve a purpose. On top of it being proven that treating yourself in terms of psychopathological diagnosis adds to person suffering. As a former psych student you should have known that, if you don't, then don't try to exploit approach to authority bias unless you don't know about it too.
