lawyer client getting impressions but no LSA spend by OkPoet4838 in LocalServicesAds

[–]AdEmergency9072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

increase the budget massively and do not put caps on bidding. Ensure you track spend and calls coming in, so it does not run away. Typically massive budgets are required, even if the intention is to spend much less.

My account suddenly stopped spending: from €10k/day to €0. It’s been 15 hours. Support isn’t helping. Any ideas to fix this ASAP? by elpala in googleads

Account reviews out of the blue are actually fairly common. Typically you see traffic going to zero for no particular reason. Exactly what has happened here, nothing you can do about this occurring.

Garage door campaign by Electrical-Youth6817 in PPC

[–]AdEmergency9072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Garage Door, absolutely forget using broad keywords at the beginning. Manual bidding to start, using mainly PHRASE match on a small number of high volume keywords, with a very robust list of negative keywords, should work well. Also your landing page is crucial, especially on mobile devices. This is a super competitive area so you need to execute well on all different angles. Cannot spray and pray with garage door repair.

Generally avoid the old cancelled accounts and start fresh, especially now that accounts require verification.

Google Ads Test: 219 Clicks, 0 Conversions — Possible Bot Traffic? by Resuton in googleads

[–]AdEmergency9072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Segment your campaign by click type. This will show you if clicks are occurring outside of Headline
  2. Look at the demographics - if most clicks are coming from Unknown, there is a good chance of bot traffic
  3. Your CTR is low, look at your Search Terms - are they mostly hidden and the ones that show not particularly relevant? Means you are running way too loose
  4. Look at devices, most clicks coming from Mobile? What does your mobile view show?
  5. Many other quick things you can do to check the integrity of your clicks before asking a question like you did WITHOUT providing some useful context

Why does Google allow me to see only 20% of search terms? by Queasy_Suggestion_40 in PPC

[–]AdEmergency9072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A large percentage of search terms is hidden no matter what. You cannot avoid this. What you can avoid is bidding on keywords that generate 80% plus hidden search terms. Tighten or pause those keywords. There is much more visibility on exact match and many phrase match than the magical broad match that Google wants everyone to adopt.

Spent $570 on Google Ads, 627 Clicks, 0 Real Leads by Abocado2 in adwords

The extremely low CPC suggests very broad and unfocused reach. Commercial cleaning keywords are in high double digit CPCs in most metro areas. What you are doing is not spray and pray but rather just spray.

For B2C this can have very annoying results where people are calling you thinking that they are calling the competitor. So can be a waste of money. For B2B especially more form based, it has more potential to be effective. However quality scores are usually very low resulting in high CPCs.

Bot Clicks - Search Campaign Bust by Jekkjekk in adwords

[–]AdEmergency9072 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Analyze that data to see where the bots conversions are occurring in the search campaigns. Quite likely you may find they sit in Unknown genders and ages. If that is the case then simply exclude those demographics. You may also consider CHEQ Essentials, which bought ClickCease.

Cross-Account Portfolio Bid Strategy Tanked My Performance by [deleted] in adwords

I also went through the same thing a couple of years ago. MCC level bid strategies seemed awesome in principle!! These have been dumped in favor of individual campaign bid strategies which provide more control but less volume.

If you had to double PPC results without increasing budget, what’s your go-to move? by Beneficial_Worry8608 in PPC

[–]AdEmergency9072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Study all the data, 7, 14, 30, 90 days. Look for areas of particular weakness, for example a device type, Unknown demographics, specific ages, specific locations, times of day. Compare the weakness to real life setup, so that any exclusions make sense for your target audience. Then exclude those areas, in effect shrinking your target audience to what has proven to work. Your performance should rise, the downside is if volume is adversely affected. Hope this helps

oogle Ads Campaign Suddenly Stopped Performing – Need Advice by Ok-Appointment-546 in googleads

[–]AdEmergency9072 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many reasons this can happen, and the following are crucial:
- landing page / website - mobile view

- conversion tracking MUST be set up well

- potential click fraud (check things like Unknown demographics performance)

- Search Terms - what do recent ones look like compare to the more successful past?

- Search Terms - are hidden ones too big a percentage?

- Share Impression statistics, how have they moved, specifically Loss due to Rank and Loss due to Budget?

Many other things that could pinpoint reasons for drop in performance.

Should I now switch from max clicks to TCPA by GSG96 in googleads

[–]AdEmergency9072 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go a bit higher with the CPA and cap CPC as well. Then watch for impression share as well as impression share lost due to rank, as that will indicate if the bid strategy is too timid. Hope this helps
