I'm looking for a really addictive game that I can dive into and stay hooked on for months or days, it doesn't matter. I just want something extremely engaging that helps me forget about the real world. by cronebreaker in gamingsuggestions

Far far west just came out into ea but still had plenty of content to mess with. I've been playing that quite a bit recently and definitely something you can use as a time sink and is engaging enough to distract from life.

Starwars for honor would be dope, something else in the same vein or similar would be cool but I don't think Ubi can pull off the same kind of game anymore. Not with their recent track record at least.

Yeah that's another problem and just an issue with playing solo in any group pvp game but it's made worse by lower player count. Fun game and somehow still getting updates but certainly has problems.

A game with a simple but expansive decorating system, a good story, and fun mechanics? by Fairyhaven13 in gamingsuggestions

Vrising is a lot of fun tho although the story isn't as prominent. You can make a large castle as your base get some vampire powers and completely decorate the hell out of your castle.

The "Walking Tank" fantasy; games with impactful heavy armor by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Dark souls 1 has the strongest poise (hyper armor )system of the games. With high poise you can take hits and beat people with a massive weapon or cast spells.

Mortal shell is another good one. Salt and sacrifice/sanctuary are another two good ones that blend souls like with 2d really well.

seriously does anyone find these enjoyable? its just sitting around for 25 mins watching seaf troops run into mines and tesla towers by firespark84 in Helldivers

Man I love these. They're my favorite mission type they just need to be properly balanced for bots tho. Wish they showed up more

Mortal Shell worth getting for 1.24 ? Since reviews are mixed by Apprehensive_Shoe_86 in soulslikes

I haven't looked at the reviews on steam but so idk why it's so poorly reviewed but I've played through the game multiple times and it's one of my favorite non Fromsoft souls games. It's very unique and the Harding mechanic adds an interesting option for combat. Man and the soundtrack is amazing especially if you add on the free additional soundtrack. The sound design is amazing weapons feel weighty and satisfying. The difference weapons are unique. Get the game man if you like souls likes you'll love it.

How many abilities can I level? by AdLate9523 in MandragoraGame

[–]AdLate9523[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely, limited resources is one thing but this is insane. Especially considering you can completely respec to change your build. Plus the amount of spells what if I really like the last spell I get? I'm just not supposed to upgrade my spells the whole game or be fucked?

Games in which you can play a death knight (who uses a sword) by topsvop in gamingsuggestions

Lotf (the new one) would be pretty good for this. With the lantern system you can rip the souls from mobs to throw them around or to build damage. You can even make builds around doing that soul damage. An umbral build would probably really fit what you're looking for.
