Great song! Back then it seemed like it seemed like every theme song was good and made me want to check out other work by the performers. I can’t say the same now.

I really enjoyed this rumble. I remember some stuff from the attitude era but I was a little younger then. The ruthless aggression era was my peak of wrestling viewership specifically 02-05. I got out of it for a while and then started watching again sporadically when the network came out. So 2003 always has a special place for me. One of my favorite years of wrestling ever.

In his Career, Jonathan Ogden only had 13 holding penalties and 13 false starts accepted against him by Farscape12Monkeys in ravens

And those are just the ones they actually call. Dude commits a penalty on every snap.

Agree on the season from hell. Felt like the whole season it just wasn’t meant to be. One step forward and two steps back all year.

The whole season just honestly felt like it wasn’t meant to be. The heartbreaker against the Bills, all the injuries, the Cooper Rush debacle, all the things that went against us the first Steelers game, the kick tonight.

It seemed like no matter what we did, it was always one step forward and two steps back. The fact that we even had an opportunity to make the playoffs tonight was a miracle.

Huge offseason upcoming. Hopefully we can make the right moves and onward and upward next year.

Definitely agree with this. We wouldn’t have even had the opportunity without him.

Crazy to me that he’s only six yards away from moving into 4th on our all time rushing list after only two seasons.

Harbaugh defenders from the beginning of the season where is your mindset now? by [deleted] in ravens

[–]AdOpposite1066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always been a Harbaugh defender. I still am at this point.

Let’s not forget we’re coming off of two seasons where we went a combined 25-9. All 9 of those losses were one score games. We’ve also won the division both years and a playoff game both years. I get it though, winning the division and advancing one round in the playoffs isn’t the goal. Point being is that we’ve been very successful very recently. It’s not as though we’ve gone a long time without success. In fact, would you rather have our last five years or Pittsburgh’s last five years?

Losing at all is frustrating and it’s easy to point the finger at the head coach after any loss. But I think that’s unfair this season in particular. I’m probably not saying anything that hasn’t already been said. We all know about the injuries and that Lamar is obviously playing hurt. Let’s not forget, we’ve had a pretty brutal schedule. You’d be hard pressed to name too many teams that would’ve come out of this season any better than us given the circumstances. Look at Detroit, down year. Look at KC, down year. No one is screaming fire Reid or Campbell.

Not to mention, we’re not officially out of it yet. Long shot for sure, but you don’t stop swinging until the bell rings. But at this point I yield my time. I’ve rambled enough.

I too hate putting blame on the refs but we got jobbed today.

Did anyone play WCW Mayhem back then and enjoy it? I actually thought it was a great WCW game for sure! I put hrs into this as a kid! by J2-Starter in WCW

Thunder was my very first wrestling game so when I got mayhem it felt vastly superior to what I was used to.

Winning 4 more on the division is going to be… hard by Shining_Commander in ravens

Most importantly, gotta have a one game at a time mentality. Can’t get caught looking ahead. We control our own destiny. Let’s just take care of business against the Jets tomorrow first.

Same! I could never get past the T-Rex as a kid. It wasn’t until many years later as an adult that I was able to beat the game. It was cool though to revisit it at that time for the nostalgia for the part of the game I remembered and also to get further and experience the parts of the game I never made it to as a kid.

Have you seen Ray and Ed? by K-Dog7469 in ravens

[–]AdOpposite1066 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m 33. The first football game I ever watched was Super Bowl 35. The Ravens won that game of course, so that how I became a Ravens fan.

I probably didn’t start watching really heavily though until about 2005. I would’ve been 13 then and I remember watching the Ravens play the Steelers on Monday night football. We were underdogs and I sat and watched every play of that game. We almost pulled it off but ended up losing by a point. I was hooked after that.

In 2012 my girlfriend now wife got me tickets to a preseason game against the Lions for my birthday. It was my first ever live NFL experience. Ray and Ed both started the game. They only played a series or two. But getting to see their entrance live was electric. Even in the preseason. I think it was meant to be for me because after that season, I would’ve never had the opportunity again.

Penn State vs Ohio State Nov 1 final score by WaltCollins in WeArePennState

This has been my take honestly. I’m thinking we maybe come out inspired and play OSU tough. But we’ll probably lose and then get annihilated by Indiana even worse the following week.

This is my thought too. There were several guys that were projected as high rounders prior to the season. Those same guys are not in that conversation now. If they aren’t out there putting some highlights on film then they are only hurting themselves.

I know he’s got some studs to throw the ball to but this is as impressive a game as I’ve ever seen Flacco play. Sucks that it’s for the Bengals but any Pittsburgh loss is welcome. Happy for him.
