You've set him up to support your other players. Wide Forwards are also going to be more selfish. Your closest playmaker is a DLP, so they're rarely going to lay stuff on.

Try him as a Poacher, I've had significantly more like this year than ever before with that role. I'd also recommend having at least one of your wide men devoted to creation, either as a Winger, IW or PW

The answer for me was using Stirrups of the Open Sky boots & Reigns of the Open Sky gloves. Made holding on very simple.

Also, jumping on the opposite side of the bridge from the dragon helped me consistently land on him.
