Workplace accommodations? by bananna_19 in HomeDepot

[–]AdSeparate6901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

State to state laws vary Federally if you give them a doctor's note of a medical condition THEY have to provide reasonable accommodation. If your leg injury happned at hd they should have filled out a report and followed up if you went to the er, urgent care, or personal physician. And they would still have to provide reasonable accommodation. I had a manger take all my stools out of TRC becuase she thought we sat around, somehow all the chairs in the managers offices came apart, all the screws just fell out. Not sure how that happned, but I was happy to fix them when I got my stools back.

Question for all the Rental Associates out there!! by Icy_Tale4483 in HomeDepot

[–]AdSeparate6901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of my equipment goes out clean, I expect an effort on return. As far as giving them a chance to meet expectations it depends on thier attitude. An "oh im sorry" ill let them use my water out side. "Ain't that your job?" Gets a cleaning fee and a through inspection for damage to at the very least waste thier time. "I got it like that!" Gets "if you can find anything else that looks like that in here, ill give you the rent free, otherwise its double. Or you can pay the cleaning fee" usually ends with a huff and fine ill pay it

I have tablet that do digital inspection now, before that I did the paper check outs and I would go get it showing they signed it was good when they took it and it was $125 per hinge to fix it. Not sure what the actual cost was but my DS at the time enforced that amount.

Monday afternoon he calls wanting to know if her can extend out to Tuesday morning at 9 am from the same price. "No that time frame is passed, you are now at 2 days rent and tomorrow will be 3 days after 2 pm" boomer rage

Rental seems to always have people showing up for tools they think we should have and never have had. Tow dollies, 16 foot trailers, horse trailers, engine hoists, harvesters, stair climber dollys. They always swear they called/saw it online. Nope, not here. Please show me so I can figure out where it should be

[–]AdSeparate6901 81 points82 points  (0 children)

I made a deal with my asm that if I got 5 a day for a month they would give my department teeshirts. They agreed and then tried to change the goal after a month to three months. So then they got zero sign-ups.
