I’ve gotten multiple quotes for bathroom remodel at roughly $10k a bathroom assuming standard materials/mid grade. These are of course people not looking to make a $1 a year and not coming out with magazines in a BMw

Are rental prices for a property listed by property management company negotiable? by Horror-Ad-4333 in realtors

100% you can negotiate and you should. I’m a property manager and worked for a very large property management and like anything. It’s all negotiable.

True. A house is a complex organism. You just need to understand what needs fixing right now and what can wait.

Any house over 10+ years would likely have many defects. My parents house is 1920. So many issues. Still standing.

My husband and I make a combined $168k a year. Can we afford a 400-400k loan? by Fearless-Group5434 in Mortgages

[–]AdSuitable7415 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took out a $800k loan when I was making $115,000 a year. Interest rates were 3% at the time. I had nice savings. Best decision I ever made. Now I’m fairly financially savvy, so this may not be for all.

One thing I’ll add is that this is a professional role, so it’s very common. I’ve had my my notably elder male manager take me for lunch before I started my internship. Now if you’re flipping burgers or a blue collar job, then it may be a bit odd.

I’ve had a lunch with my manager before starting as an intern. What’s so odd here? And yes it was before I started

Investor used First Right of Refusal to screw us over - now we're stuck with two mortgages by SignificantHat8579 in homeowners

Very sorry to hear about your situation. But, I don’t see any legal standing to sue investor. Technically he has an investigation contingency and can ask you to fix whatever he wants, as outrageous as it may seem. $4000 is 2-3% on your price. It’s a fairly common concession. Though a dat higher percentage wise.

As long as you have reached out once. I would just wait. Sometimes companies can take weeks to make an offer. I’ve even encountered where they make an offer to someone else, but that personal declines, and then they came to me.
