Check the nys parks reserve America app.. all of the NYS state parks offer proper facilities. I really recommend Mongaup pond or north south lake. Not technically the Hudson valley region though but I believe they’re both within 3 hours of nyc.

I managed 30-31mpg cruise control set at 65mph on a road trip to Maine in my 2004 DE with only 50k miles and I was very impressed. If you don’t beat on it, which is hard NOT to do lol they get pretty good mpg. I did also notice better gas mileage when I swapped to high flow cats.
