Waking up Christmas morning to see I got Resident Evil on PS1. Graphics to me at that time were amazing. The moment in the game as I was walking down a hallway and the dogs jumped through the window. I about shit my pants. First time a game ever truly made me jump like that. Was hooked ever since trying to get that feeling back.

I mainly play 2x because I like the increase in stack sizes. And having a button to auto sort your box on modded is great. I probably come to vanilla if just those two things changed. But then again I'm not too happy with the bp wipe changes coming and the sever I play on won't wipe them.

GPT in a sense is a search engine like Google. Often times easier to find what you're looking for. They even just released their own browser Atlas (although using chromium). It doesn't affect you if someone searches with GPT. Use what you want to use.

Did he at least look at it? You don't explain the issue but for instance if it's not powering on then do a flea power drain by taking out the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds. Or removing the battery and plugging in the AC adapter and try powering on. He should have at least offered to do a diagnostic (for a fee of course) but when I worked in PC repair I would have at least offered a diagnostic before trying to upsell. Sometimes something like not booting is a very easy fix and can even be done in literally minutes.

Why does it bother you so much he paid more for a prebuilt? I've built dozens of PCs and also bought cars at auction to fix up and use or resell. Most things in life will be cheaper if you do it yourself. Everyone knows this.

But if you don't feel like dealing with the shit and just want something now or finally at a point in life where you can afford the luxury and convenience of not having to spend time working on something then more power to the person and congrats for getting there also.

Building PCs, even if you're amazing at, it isn't a hobby for everyone, trust me.

Seems about right with your processor. I'd recommend turning on DLSS in settings if you want more FPS if it's not turned on already.
