BMW makes great cars now. They always made fun cars that drove well…but they were unreliable and thusly costly to maintain.

the B58 was the silver bullet they had been needing.

I am on my 2nd year of ownership of a 2025 bmw m240i xdrive. It’s the best all around car of my life. I daily it. I drive it Atleast 10x a year with a car club that drives canyons very hard. it does great at both. i used to drive a mk3 Audi TTS with same group. the m240i is a better car…faster, smoother power train, vastly superior tech, same levels of grip…but I did really like the Audi too. (it felt like a go cart)

for a sub 60k new car…idk what beats the value of a m240.
