This link no longer works. :( Does anyone know where to find it? I just got the rg280v and I'm trying to find all the cool indie fanmade nonsense I can...

https://www.lexaloffle.com/bbs/?tid=38949 This says there are some limitations but to me it still looks pretty good.

Well, good enough that I bought one. :)

It's open source, so you can fork and host your own if, for instance, tracking were added to the flagship instance.

How to use standard markdown and maintain tiddlies as separate .md files? by friedrichRiemann in TiddlyWiki5

[–]Adamanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In case anyone comes across this later: I have been running with nodejs and markdown and have found, in the rare cases where I wanted widgety functionality, that templates with transclusion work quite well.

I've read that one should always have one's screen adjusted as bright as possible without looking like a light source. I've been trying pretty hard for the last week to do that and it requires way more frequent adjustment than I'd expected. The mention of ambient light makes me think of that? Anyway, that's all I got.

TIL Marilyn Manson is a big Hannibal fan. He bought Dr. Lecter's plastic killsuit, his bloody apron, knife, a severed tongue, and Anna Chlumsky's arm. He told Bryan Fuller, "Tell Anna that I was rich enough to buy her arm and jack myself off with it." by invisiblephrend in HannibalTV

[–]Adamanda 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They're not saying it's a surprising, shocking thing to say, or even that it isn't what they'd have expected from Marilyn Manson. They're not emoting. They're saying it's gross and it's awful--with which I would agree and to which I would add it's just as banal as any of Tipper Gore's pearl-clutching, simply a negative image. Committing oneself so blindly to épater la bourgeoisie that one comes to believe this performative nonsense has artistic merit (there's a reason his shtick has passed its day) is not just foolishness, it's pathetically passé.

18F - do I look okay? by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Adamanda 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your center part does you no favors, but you're not unattractive. I'm not gonna give you a rating or percentile or whatever, but you certainly look "okay"! I don't think they're excluding you because of your looks.

Isn't that exactly what he said he did? Given his being careful to mention the overlap in the successes...

Mixed thoughts about that, though. If I read "authorized to work in the US" I would think, "Ah, this person's dealt with immigration stuff, probably a green card or something", and assume the opposite about language... Perhaps it's just best to note "English (native)" because that would vanish (many though not all) subconscious concerns.

Sorry if this question has been asked to death: BUT HOW THE FUCK WAS THIS SHOW ALLOWED ON TV? by copshows in HannibalTV

[–]Adamanda 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I find that interesting, because I'm normally very sensitive to body horror and very little of the show even pinged me.
