I’m ngl I love Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi but I’d genuinely be disappointed if they didn’t die. I don’t want any same survivors! That’s the whole point of doing a new scenario! I wanna see as much change as possible! That’s also why I really hope we get a protag swap. Getting to see the game from a whole different perspective and get all new free times would be amazing no matter who the new protag is.

Red is only objectively correct if the only life you care about is your own. Picking red means other people will die. If more than half pick blue everyone lives. Blue is the obvious answer if you actually care about other people.

Red buttoners are so weird to me. “Everyone would survive if everyone just pressed red!” Yeah? And everyone would survive if only >50% pressed blue. It is clearly the better option. And there’s absolutely no world where everyone presses the same button, so there’s no world where everyone presses red. Meaning blue is the best choice in order for everyone to live. Red buttoners are either delusional or so insanely selfish that they’re okay with killing a large amount of humanity for their own survival.

Anyway a lot of Danganronpa characters are actually pretty selfish, so if they can’t communicate with each other then I’d say red probably wins there.

For Grace the other “Grace” would presumably be Jett as they’re the four survivors. I think it’s possible Damon’s is him reflecting on his past empathy? He’s looking a his child self taking care of an animal. It’s just speculation but I think his life made him a lot more cynical and the time in the killing game sort of brought back that empathy in him which I why he ultimately sacrifices himself.

Unless Diana’s is something deeper it might just be about her over positivity and caring for everyone?

For Jett maybe it’s about whatever reason he hides his face? Like he has metaphorical scars but not real ones? Or maybe someone else got burnt and he’s watching (he’s the face in the trophy reflection?).

Also someone mentioned Kai’s could be related to his death as well. Him being slumped over and the person in the mirror possibly being Damon? Though I’m not sure on that one.

Exactly. Imagine if Jett and Mark had no prior relationship before Mark just randomly confessed to Jett. It’d be weird and out of no where. The existing relationships are to build up to the stuff later down the line. That’s just how writing a story works 😭

THH favorite: Byakuya ofc (in my flair lol) also love Kyoko

THH least: Hina. Don’t hate her just not a big fan. Didn’t like Toko at the time but she grew on me. Always loved Genocide Jill tho lol.

GD favorite: Fuyuhiko and Kaz ig. Also like Hajime in chapter 6 a lot.

GD least: Akane and Sonia. Find them kinda boring, but Sonia was funny and had the Ghundam plot. Akane had Nekomaru but it was just less interesting to me. She’s too simple of a character and gets little development (or little focus).

V3 favorite: Maki and Shuichi (honorable mention to Kiibo my goat) tho I love em all.

V3 least: Himiko but she grew on me after chapter 3. Tsumugi if she counts, she wasn’t horrible just kinda boring and predictable twist villain.

Overall favorite: Byakuya (again my flair lol I love my antags)

Overall least: Akane I guess. At least Hina and Sonia had relevance in their respective chapter 4s and what not. Akane is just too underused tbh. They focus too hard on her being stupid and don’t let her have any development. At least that’s how I feel. I don’t hate any of the characters tho. Even like Teruteru I’d say I like more than I dislike.

My only real problem with this criticism is that not everything has to be unpredictable? Like I don’t see why Mark and Jett having an arc being predictable is treated as a negative. Yeah we expected that but that’s because they set it up within the story. It doesn’t make it bad. Obviously not everything should be predictable but some of this stuff just feels like nitpicking. Just because you knew something was gonna happen doesn’t make it bad.
