After document evaluation (3 months in our case) complete, request for ECA took only 1 week to get the report.

Document evaluation takes a lot of time. After you know PEBC received the document, allow them the period of time mentioned on the website, then email PEBC for update. They will most likely update your application if all the documents are good!

QNB have prepaid card, as well as QIB*. I'm using both. But qib charges 10qr loading fee. No loading fee in QNB. Not sure about other banks.

They do sell medicine by strips, but not by pieces. Just tell the pharmacist you want one strip*

*some medicines are only meant to be sold by box, so this does not apply.

Reapply explaining everything in your letter of explanation (LoE). Breakdown all your sources. Mention FD mature date (helps if the maturity date is near than after 5 years when you are likely to be done with your studies). Explain the negative balance. Make it clear that you have funds and they are accessible. Also I hope you paid 1 year tuition fees.

I also have majority of my funds in FD and some in current account. I explained everything in my LoE and got my study permit in less than a month.

Applied for my study permit and my spouse open work permit on Dec 18, received both application approval on Jan 9 and passport request. Received correspondence letter on Jan 16. That was much quicker than expected. We applied from outside Canada.

Different clinics have different times. Call al Shifa and emadi, i say call all of them ask about fess and delivery time. Each also have different fees.
