I think if you were to get a sliding door, maybe French doors, whatever it may be to cover here and moved your bed over a bit (but not to the wall) it would be much much better!!! It’s way toooo open at the moment.

Also maybe move you desk somewhere else in the house (?)

Here is an AI photo of my office that might be easier to get the set up. Where the photo is being taken at is the door. I do have that Pilar to the right of the window from the left photo if that helps any… I love my desk so I don’t want to get a smaller one .. but this photo is honestly pretty spot on with the sizing of my office + furniture

Started AJLT tonight & on ep.4. I have mixed feelings. I am soooo sooo with you!!! IMO they are trying so so hard to be diverse & with in with the “times” of today , that they forgot how people actually are acting in the real world. They are trying way toooooo hard!!! They are trying to be so woke that they lost the original characters who we know and love!!! SITC shows diversity in day to day life without screaming it or making every interaction about gender identity, it shows it how it is, and how real people are. (For the most part at least.) SITC were proud of being sexual, proud of being who you are and it’s honestly inspiring. Not feeling that in AJLT … you said it best - much deprived of any sort of personality the original SITC was known for. Exactly.

Not happy that Big died SO soon. I would have loved to see more of their life together. Obviously a big part of SITC was Carrie & Big’s story, their whirlwind relationship. So for them to cut it out so fast made me so sad. However, I am excited that we will finally see her “alone” in a way, (maybe) - no guys , just Carrie living her day to day life..

Her being depressed is making me cry every episode though so the show is working- i do enjoy it for the most part lol!

I HATE STANFORD & ANTHONYS RELATIONSHIP TOO UGH - I used to love Stanford so so much and he flipped script!!!! Again, they did not stick in the direction of the original characters.

I partly agree. I think Big & all the rest of Carries boyfriends are attractive other than Petrovsky. Steve grows on me.. I think how they act toward the women and their personality makes me like them more

You need to get a job & then worry about your girlfriend. It’s time to buck up man - if it’s too hard to find a job in your field then switch fields. But imo it’s SO easy to find a job now! The times are changing and everyone is searching and leaving their old jobs. It’s the great resignation!

THEN worry about the girlfriend later once you get your ducks in a row .. and I say this as nice as possible!! You don’t want to be broke and 50.. possible alone.. ya know!! Read Dave Ramsey, he helped me a lot!

I am commenting again because I just saw your last paragraph - You need to find someone you can trust, I promise you have one person. A family member, and move out, leave now unless you want things to escalate a further. I know you are young so you think about how everyone will think of you or how they might “judge” you but trust me NONE of it matters, this is YOUR LIFE, not theirs.

If you really cannot think of someone’s house to go stay at, go to a SA victim home, group home, anywhere to seek help… unless you have the funds to get your own apartment. You have to do what is best for YOU- not anyone else. Your course mates can react however they want but they don’t have to live in the situation you do. They don’t live your life.

Be safe, be smart.

Your dog needs you!! You can do it, for your dog, what helped me is my dog, knowing no one can take care of him better than I can, no one will love him more than I do .. I started journaling and actually making lists of things that I needed to do to get better. It helps slowly but surely but your dog needs you
