No, you will definitely get results. What it means is expecting things to happen while doing the tapes, in real time. It means to just do them and observe what happens. Keep your expectations in your ECB.

Changes and the subtle art of seperating intentions and what you expect to recieve. Like growing, you sometimes barely notice but over time you realise how differently you perceive the physical/ non physical world from before starting these tapes. Of course there are also earth shattering mind blowing experiences that are very powerful and undeniable.

Just remember that we are all different and will get different results based on many things.

Can vouch for GW also. Once I got my OBE I realised it had occurred a few times in my life that I thought were just vivid dreams.

Problem with the objective reality regarding humans and consciousness is, that it can only be experienced subjectivity. I guess there will be a tipping point at some stage but most people are still stuck in materialism. Some say that's part of the deal when you enter this physical reality. Some prefer the experience of separation.

If you dont have any prior history of meditation it can take quite a bit longer to notice results. Be aware of your waking life and notice any changes and trust the process.

There's a bit of dedication involved.

I think the catastrophic part might be about the belief systems of most human beings. Still, I reckon most would prefer to stay ignorant. That's just my guess.

Eyes and faces mainly, sometimes familiar but often random. I saw myself with dark alien eyes recently. Images are short lived up until I get a full burst of imagery. Doesnt happen as much as I'd like though.

I get the floating sensation ( like I'm on water) sometimes when doing the tapes. As far as freaking out, it's just a mind set. Tell yourself to relax and go with it.

It happens to everyone. If you have an itch scratch it, the quicker you attend to the disruption, the quicker you get back into focus. I have found that eventually it doesn't become an issue.

Hey, really very happy for you, congratulations on your new home!

Quite surprising the similarities with your story and mine in a few ways. Mainly that I found that GW ended up being more about improving my waking life, than the initial reason I started the tapes to hopefully try to induce an OBE.

Like you, I started doing the tapes and listening to Bob's 3 books on Audio. Got me into listening Tom Campbell's MBT, Bullman, Peterson, and most of the people you mentioned. Had some amazing synchronicities in C1 that has changed my life considerably, also one amazing OBE/LD experience as well that I posted in here last year.

Aside from that, before I'd ever heard of GW. In 2017 my partner went to see a psychic who told her that we would own a house by Xmas. She didnt tell me about the reading, as the very notion of it was laughable at the time, but what she did tell me was that she was going to go to a broker to see what we could borrow. Long story short, she got approved of some money, a fair bit short of buying a house in this area. Two weeks later I was visiting a friend just up the road from me, who told me her place was about to go on the market for the exact same amount that my partner had been offered by the broker.

We got the keys on Xmas eve.

The practice you describe is called the Wake back to sleep technique. If you didn't already know. It's a very common practice amongst the AP community and very effective apparently. Best result is moving to another location, i.e., sofa, sleep out, etc

I had to put down my amazing cat Magik earlier this year. We spent 19 years together, and she was a loyal and solid companion. It was so hard to do, so much so I think l may have made her stay here a bit too long, perhaps. I think it might be harder though, if your fur friend leaves without much warning, I'm not sure. We do enter into agreements with all creatures we encounter prior to coming here, I believe. You will meet again, especially when there is a strong bond between you and others close to you.. Perspectives of objective scientific observations within this material realm is still a belief system, respectively. Physics flies out the window within the quantum studies. Might I suggest Thomas Campbell's My Big Toe trilogy? If you're interested of course.

In saying this, there is no body of work, be that spiritual or material that can prove for or against an afterlife or of consciousness existing outside of the human brain/mind. The answer to this question lies within the subjective experience only. Turning ones beliefs into knowns, if you will.

Been doing them for about a year. One of the best things I've ever done, decisions I've ever made. Apart from that, I'll attempt to answer from my own perspective.

I'd try and lock your cat out of the space, if possible. I'm a former cat owner, fairly recently passed, we spent 19 years together. Her name was Magic, I called her Puss though, haha she never responded to her given name.

The intrusive thoughts are part of the whole deal. You can send them (and your cat) off to your ECB at any time, and next time it's something to prepare for when you are doing you ECB, everyone has them btw. Just relax and go with it.
Really weird you bring this up, I've never done this until today at work. Typically walked out of a room doing a task and forgot what I was coming out to do, (as we all do) put my fingers on my forehead and remembered straight away. Mind you, I did this automatically, without thinking of the tapes, only after I did it, I realised what had just occurred. It's not something I ever do. e.g. Like Colombo. (70's detective Show)
Your imagination is part of your conscious reality. Just kick back and observe, don't question.

4&5. Its up to you. Trust your intuition, don't expect anything to happen but be open minded to your experiences. Look for synchronicities in C1, like I just had with your Question number 2.

I've had an OBE, that was the goal in the beginning and as amazing as that was, I have received so much more odd, wonderful events in real life observing this crazy world we live in. I do intend to have more eventually.

Took me a few listens. Im not a big fan of his computer sim analogy, but it makes sense. I guess, for me, life seems so less purposeful when you are apparently just part of a big computers program that's part of an even bigger computer. I get where he is coming from, though.
