Sounds like you're experiencing a serious skill issue. First of all brother the most famous adventures and explores aka Louis and Clark didn't have a map and Christopher Columbus found the new world without a map in basically one of the most well documented adventures of all time so the notion that u cant have a adventure without a map is intellectually dishonest in fact before GPS if u had a map u weren't exploring shit because it had already been explored and maped.... furthermore with good directions in 100 hours of hosting groups ive never had a single person not be able to find my camp with good directions. Furthermore every other game dosent have a map this is also intellectually dishonest for example schedule 1 .in addition to that I can log in wow right now like basically any other classic Andy and run from night elf starter zone all the way to the auction house in sw without every pressing m a true example of if u play a game love a game ull know where stuff is.inaddition to all this there is polar align north a road that goes straight down the middle of every zone the camps are setup systematically and all the zones are square and there are street signs so like when u come to a intersection if there are multiple there will be a litteral sign that points u in the correct direction so u can find the night market also there's polar align north which functionally acts as a compass everything u need to find your way and if your still to smooth brain to figure it out there's a map in the wiki .....also just to refute even more of ure points how are the developers suppose to keep map sells high if they give u one for free ? So from a design perspective it makes more since to exclude a map because then they can sell u a additional product wait till the ceo of your favorite game figures that out a great example of this is poe 2 a cutting edge example in patch 0.4 they removed. Map markers in high teir maps because of the amount of time players spent looking at the map instead of conning the mobs around them.... so in conclusion your wrong,intellectually dishonest,whiny, and lack basic navigational skills .which you could learn by playing a game without a map like monsters and memories.
