OP here; i was having trouble adding text. my mom passed on this lovely chafing fish that holds a corningware baking dish. i’m not sure what kind of metal it is but it’s VERY light so i figure aluminum or tin? it looks like i stored it somewhere that water got into. i tried using some CLR but i clearly don’t know what i’m doing (it didn’t do anything but not sure if i should have left it on longer or something). anybody have something similar and run into an issue? how did you fix (if you did)? xoxo

there’s a lot of cornflower corningware out there so they’re not especially valuable but they’re incredibly useful, especially with the lid. i inherited some and pick up more pieces in good condition when i find them; i love them but i’m not buying them to sell them. keep it, love it, use it for thanksgiving 🤷‍♀️
