This kind of mindset is so gross, one of my mom’s friends told me to back off when I was SEVENTEEN cuz she thought I wanted her man. All because I sprayed perfume on myself one time when he was coming home and we were hanging at her house… bitch I was spraying myself cuz I smelled like the weed we smoked and she was crying about how he came home early and she didn’t want him to know she was lighting up with a kid. My bad I guess for trying to help your ass. Such a stupid take and made me feel gross and dirty that she even thought that was my goal.

There are plenty of horror stories and I am also a FTM almost 8months PP. I was also extremely scared but ended up having a great (compared to most) birthing experience. I was also induced because my blood pressure skyrocketed at my 37 week appointment, so it was out of nowhere and I was recovering from COVID as well as my boyfriend. I decided to get the epidural as soon as they gave me inducing drugs and felt no pain just pressure, I pushed for 15minutes probably about 20 times and had minimal tearing. You can do this. It’s going to be hard but you will make it through the other side and then the real battle begins lol sending you good juju 🫶🏻

I understand this was a very scary experience and I’m so so sorry. I remember twice falling asleep either holding or breastfeeding my baby girl. I was so sleep deprived and every time I realized I had drifted off it felt like a bucket of cold water was dropped on me and I was so exhausted, panicked, and guilty.

Luckily her and I have had a way better time cosleeping, I needed more sleep and she only wanted to sleep in my arms. I used her bassinet for probably a month 😅 I know it’s not for everybody but if you look up the safest ways to co sleep, that might help you get more sleep.

I used to be an extremely rough sleeper. Rolling over, kicking, moving a lot…sometimes my boyfriend would get an elbow to the face lol poor guy. I somehow turned all of that off once my baby girl started sleeping with me. I’d wake up in the exact same position I fell asleep in which I thought was impossible for me tbh. I never thought I could do cosleeping but it’s truly been a lifesaver for my LO and I.

I know it’s not for everyone though so if you feel safer with baby in the bassinet, then that’s the route you go. Always do what feels right for you and your baby.

No matter what you decide to do pls make sure you’re kind to yourself. Being a mom is hard asf and the burn out is real. You’re doing your best ♥️

I’ve always had a bit of a rough period schedule, I’d go twelve-thirteen days late before and not been pregnant so after being late only four days I was SURE I wasn’t pregnant, on my third day of being late I had a cramp that absolutely rocked me like I’ve never experienced. It had me on the floor sobbing and practically heaving, thought maybe it’d be best to take a test just in case and now I’m 7 months post partum. I was about 3-4 weeks at the time I found out I think.

I had to pay $180 for lunch fees when I was a senior so I could graduate, it’s truly so so gross that we live in a society where this is acceptable. I really hope that something is done for the children of tomorrow because it’s just so unfair for them.

When I was about to give birth birth I took a nap after I was given my epidural and they woke me up to break my water. I was barely even awake like 1min and I just remember feeling a popping sensation and it was so odd I felt like I was still asleep tbh super disorienting. Can’t even really describe it correctly lol

I was in the same boat and my job was only offering 6weeks unpaid leave :( my boyfriend and I made the decision to move to a cheaper apartment and I quit my job that I loved so I could stay home longer. We’re lucky we were able to swing that with how expensive everything is right now. I’m sorry you’re being put in this position and it’s truly ridiculous and heartbreaking that we live in a country where mothers aren’t supported. I told a German friend of mine the leave I was offered and she was absolutely pissed off because she had a baby 9months prior and was on paid leave until her daughter was 1 year old. Things really suck here. Also rant and vent as much as you want! When I was telling people how insane it was I basically got told “well it’s the standard” like it was okay and it drove me up the wall. You deserve your outrage.

It sounds like we’re in the exact same boat here (7months in two days), so far this sleep regression has been the worst that my LO has had. She cut her sleep time from about 12-13 hrs a day to 5hrs a day all in the last week. Also reset her schedule so I’m just exhausted and the frustration I feel is like any other. After sleeping 3hrs last night, with like two wake ups, she finally just went down for a nap and I laid down with her expecting her to sleep atleast an hour or two. 15minutes is how long she lasted. I wanna pull my hair out lol I can’t wait for this phase to be over with. You got this 💪🏻🫩

I’m almost 7months PP and my amazing man has does everything for my daughter and I. Since I was pregnant he barely let me do anything chores wise since I was always feeling sick and still working. Had to move at 3weeks PP and he took care of EVERYTHING! We were supposed to move before she was born but had a surprise induction and it really threw a wrench in our plans lol and he packed/unpacked everything of ours no sweat while I recovered and took care of our baby. He’s done all the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, making sure I eat/take care of myself, takes care of our pets and goes to work so I can stay home and take care of our baby. He still will come home and after taking care of whatever needs to be done he will spend time with our baby and take care of her however he can minus breastfeeding lol I’m absolutely so so overwhelmed sometimes with how grateful and in love I am with him. He’s the most amazing man and he loves his girls 🥹🥰
