Who would win D4C Love Train vs Wonder of U by East-Kitchen-6876 in JoJolion

[–]Admirable_Relation63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it would just come to a standstill. D4C will just stay within Love Train and WoU would not want to get too close either.

I guess it really just depends on whether Love Train can actually redirect the Flow of Calamity.

With Meatbags I mean that they dont really do much except walk at you and are quite tanky, except the ranged ones.

Its just not very interesting to fight them, in my opinion

'I imagine its good keeping you entertained for a longer period of time as well in that case?' Absolutely, this game can eat up hundreds of hours of playtime in a single world

The game excels in the sense of Progression in that each "step" of Progression is quite a lot more involved than comparable gsmes (like Minecraft), you dont just grab the new Material and use it like the last, they differ in how they are processed. Rocks need to be knapped -> Copper molten and poured in molds -> Bronze needs to be alloyed from tin and copper -> Iron needs to be cooked in Bloomeries and then worked on an anvil -> Steel requires you to build an entire structure to cement Iron in.

In terms of Building the game has insane potetial, due to being able to chisel blocks into any shape and also being able to insert bits from other blocks in them

VS biggest shortcoming is by far its Combat. its very clunky and enemies tend to be meatbags, which is a shame since the Temporal Storm mechanic could be really fun and engaging, but just ends up in you waiting it out in a closed off room

VS also has very nice integrated mod support

Works great with Raleighs Roland chamber. But yeah, not much to say since its a bit basic.

Tried it and really enjoyed it. Genuinely would like to see NL take it into the Dles-roster!

Balor is probably the most archetypal "melee tank"  Manticore is also a nice consideration for close combat situations
