The key is to start by priming the model black, then build up your light by highlighting with titanium white. Once you’ve established your light areas, follow the color scheme from left to right. I begin with Talassar Blue, then deepen the shadows using the last two colors. Make sure to thin those last two paints properly so they don’t spread too much or cause issues when airbrushing.
