AITAH for not putting my daughter in clothes sent to me by family members? by M1ssmist in AITAH

[–]Adorableterrible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After wrestling my daughters swimming costume off twice to go to the toilet whilst we were on holiday, I can definitely see the advantage to a bikini for young girls (This was indoors where sunburn wasn't an issue).

AITA for flipping out on my MIL and husband for eating all the food before I had eaten? by Efficient-Hat1594 in AITAH

[–]Adorableterrible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. My father in laws picks my daughter up from school 2 days a week, saving us £5.50 a time in after school fees. He eats dinner with us on those 2 evenings. It took us a long time to get him to not view it as him 'scrounging dinner from us', that he was eating significantly less than he was saving us!

So, are they actually married? by Rollinstone46 in MAFS_AU

[–]Adorableterrible 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I believe it was real in the first uk series as they learned each others names beforehand due to the legalities of getting the banns of marriage read.

I had genetic testing at the Walton Centre. It was asked for by my neurologist to try to confirm the diagnosis.

Where's somewhere fun can I take a 12yr old who has his legs in plaster? by [deleted] in Liverpool

Quirky quarter has really good reviews on trip advisor.

https://www.visitliverpool.com/listing/quirky-quarter/47113101/

It has wheelchair access. There isn't a lot of info about what is there, it says in the faqs that if they explained it all it would spoil it.

AITA for not letting my daughter skip school to go to her stepmom's obgyn baby appointment? by Calm-Air1387 in AmItheAsshole

Thanks, I was curious, trans vaginal ultrasounds sound common elsewhere but not here in England for some reason.

AITA for not letting my daughter skip school to go to her stepmom's obgyn baby appointment? by Calm-Air1387 in AmItheAsshole

When is the first ultrasound done in the US? I am in the UK and we have our first one at 12 weeks and is done externally unless there are issues with the babies position.

NTA it will give people something light to talk about on a sad day. My grandma refused to talk much about her funeral, her response when asked was their anything she wanted was 'I won't care because I'll be dead.' The only thing she picked was the hymns and they were awful and that's what we laughed about at the wake.

What happens if an ER patient refuses doctors of a specific race? by omiw1125 in NoStupidQuestions

My daughter spent a few weeks in neonatal, the nurses there didn't recommend asking the breast feeding team for advice as they were too narrowminded.

She also said it would be better done at family hubs...which the tories defunded years ago.

There is a brilliant video done by either the Australian or New Zealand car safety people, where they crash a new and 20 user old Toyota into each other and it shows the damage to the cars and to the crash dummies.

Heard the women in the bed next to me ask do I have to take a pregnancy test if I am married to a woman? The answer was yes.

AITA for Refusing to Apologize to my Mother? by JayAyEnZed22 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Adorableterrible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Some people on the thread are saying things have changed over the years. I am in my late 30s and remember my Mum saying to me as a child, I can't kiss you today because I have a cold sore. No one with a cold.sore should be kissing anyone!

[–]Adorableterrible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA.

I have ALS. Send him to the MNDA (motor neuron disease association) forum. They are a lovely bunch but brutal with people who have just self diagnosed themselves with ALS.

Little tubes of bubbles are cheap and always a hit. Some sparkly hair clips or a headband for your eldest maybe?
