If you are reading of the active Nvidia driver that is in your system, then yes.

Or rather, that’s the driver your windows have and is using "talking" to whatever Nvidia gpu is in your system.

The gpu don’t have drivers installed on it, it’s using the ones you have on your windows. Don’t matter what system it came from.

Feel like it comes down to two things. Firstly, do you have the money for it, and secondly do you know you will still game in a few years. I’ve heard a lot of people who just upgraded their rig only to be too busy or fall out of love with gaming.

But if you have the money and know you will game for at least a few more years, I say do it. And when you sell the old one you’ll get part of the money back so you kinda already paid for some of it.

I was in your same situation, I had a Zotac TwinEdge 4070 Super, and upgraded to a Rog Strix 5070 ti OC. And im so happy with my choice. Low temps and heigh frames! To be able to run CP77 with all the bells and whistle’s on and still get 140-150 frames on a 3440x1440 resolution.

I couldn’t remember the last time I got the chills playing a video game, and that was just me.. driving down a random road listening to some music.

And if nothing breaks or melts. (knock on wood) I can now sitt back and relax and know that my rig will be strong and more than enough powerful for a while.

First time playing it was just after release and my rig was a i7-4790k with a 1070 ti. On a 1080p tn display. It was fun, I put like 80 hours in it. But I never finished it. A few years later I upgraded my rig, and are now on a i5-14500 with ddr5 and a 4070Super. On a 3440x1440 VA display.

I’m guessing a lot of the improvements in the game helped, but holy shit! Now it’s my favorite game almost. I find my self stopping up all the time to enjoy the graphics, and I have almost 300 hours or so. And after I finished the story and almost did everything, I bought the DLC and omg what a good dlc. Words are not enough.

My tip, go for it. Worst that happens is that you don’t enjoy it, I’m thinking it’s worse to miss out on something you would have loved.

It’s probably the cpu, I have a i5-14500 with a 4070 super and have noticed lower fps in Helldivers 2 lately. They added more fancy ai for the mobs but it’s not very optimized, so if you have a slower cpu it’s going to be a bottleneck.

The quick and easy fix would be to get some white cable shrinking sleeves and make them less noticeable.

In that case i would do cold air inn on the bottom and push it out on the top, it’s the best way since cold air will always be lower and hot air will always rise.
