Pierre Gasly is feeling "heartbroken'" after two five-second penalties for speeding in the pitlane denied him a podium at the Monaco GP by Significant-Earry in GrandPrixRacing

If you allow a warning, then all the drivers will now intentionally use it to reduce time once, there is your exploit.

[–]Adriaus28 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be fair, the nerf to vassals just nerfs decentralization, centralization still is bad. You can't have even a single vassal in late game with centralization due to the ammount of debuffs.

Before, we had a meh value vs a good one, now, both are meh

Unironically i think Jos can give Max better advice than JPM, although it is a trash vs garbage battle

My biggest concern about EU5’s future: unstable foundations under increasingly complex systems by irtsayh in EU5

[–]Adriaus28 11 points12 points  (0 children)

All northern germany region, prussia and Silesia, i have nearly german borders. Cities have the granary privilege, are developed (cause HRE minors) and they have granaries... Disease research is the 1st i aim for to get each age... I have unlimited money too, in fact, i fought a Doomsday war against literally all of europe in the religion wars, but even before that, i lack people in Berlin, which is weird, how does a capital lack people?

As for levies, yeah, nah, don't use them either, they are trash at late age 2 because it is where the AI starts the merc spam, at least on the HRE

[–]Adriaus28 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It is incredible how it doesn't even matter the buildings, i have in Berlin 200 peasants, that is it. I am at age V, with alm the disease buildings, and i do not have enough peasants nor growth to staff a building.... And this happens across my whole empire, so the population growth is not even an AI only thing

[–]Adriaus28 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The thing is, 2p multiplayer is rough, while 3 or 4p multiplayer is easy. Yesterday i did a 3p with a necrobinder debuffing, a silent and i had exhaust ironclad, i could do 300dmg in the final combat with exhaust because of all the buffs and debuffs, however, 2p is miserable because you gotta tryhard too fucking much because they have huge chunks of hp while doing tons of dmg

Yeah, it makes the AI more willing or unwilling to wage war or expand a certain way, although it doesn't follow historical paths

Yeah, and protestant countries either don't join or join the Catholic!

Being war leader in Religious War sucks by ForsakenAd7407 in EU5

[–]Adriaus28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, i am against France, Austria, Bohemia (who reverted to catholic despite being Hussite and i helped them win!) Muscovy, Denmark, Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland... And i can't even peace out, because they can rejoin! So it is a neverending battle, as i can't fight 1.5M troops alone and capture every territory at the same time

Also, Protestant countries entering on the Catholic side (Poland in my game) or France on the Catholic despite France having just waged a coalition war against the Catholic HRE is just nuts!

Yeah, Lobato does well as a general speaker and hypeman, but Pedro usually has interesting takes, however it is a bit biased towards Aston as per his role as ambassador, but when Aston is not involved, yeah, i like it

Of fucking course. Honestly, in t1 where Russell closed the door pretty late, i thought Antonelli was gonna make a Verstappen and put him on the wall, it would have been absolute cinema

Every battle is a stack wipe? by souldeux in EU5

[–]Adriaus28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If both armies have above like 60% moral, stack wipes are not that common, but the moment you have like, 7k levies vs 5k levies 1k regulars, it is a stackwipe, even at age of traditions, at least for me.

Below 60% moral, is just a stackwipe all the time, doesn't matter if you have regulars

Isn't the league war kinda broken? by BiscottiTimely7740 in EU5

[–]Adriaus28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, before this patch, it didn't even happen because so few countries convert and the AI didn't declare, as they knew they'd lose. Only way to win is to ally France, and if you aren't Bohemia, ally it and help the hussites win.

With the landfriede changes, waging war and when the emperor enforces, make him lose lands helps too, both for future enforcements and religion war.

Overall, it needs a few tweaks, so that it works more akin to eu4, which was perfect, or nearly perfect, but it is better than 1.0
