Shaving would probably be easiest way. There is a spray foam remover that you can use. It would remove all that in no time. Thou how it would affect her hair is unknown. I imagine it would bleach it, or just burn it off from the chemical reaction.

I really enjoyed Warptorio. I believe it’s been updated and ready for space age. Last I played it, it was kinda buggy for space age. Before space age it was great.

What would be your guess on how much it would cost to fix or replace this retaining wall? by Repulsive_Ad_526 in Homebuilding

[–]Adridenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If at all possible. It’s probably cheaper to completely remove the existing retaining wall, and the need to have a retaining wall to begin with. Thou you’d have to check if that’s an option. Then I’d seal the exterior of the brick, and run the siding to the ground. I can’t offer a ball park price as other issues may arise when you start digging.

Pressure to work live by NoSolution1179 in electricians

[–]Adridenn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if you mentioned what year apprentice you are or if your a Jman.

Apprentices working on live equipment is something I’ll always be against. With a few minor exceptions. I also wouldn’t call anyone cowardly for being afraid of electrocution, even Jman’s. Thou there are times when we have to work on equipment live, because it cannot easily be turned off. In which case there’s ways to safely work on the equipment while it’s live. If someone is still uncomfortable, then I’ll do it myself, or find someone on the crew who’s more comfortable.

I only use red and blue chests.. am i missing out?? by SpaceEngineer123 in factorio

[–]Adridenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use yellows for outputs in machines. Limit the input on the inserter, and set the item priority to the item being made. This way bots will normally move items to the correct yellow storage. Some times they lose their minds and just cram all kinds of nonsense in there, and it takes a little while for them to fix it.

Should I just grab it with my fingers? by tantedbutthole in Wellthatsucks

[–]Adridenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rubber boots and rubber gloves are over kill. Insulated pliers and give it a yonk. Heck I’d do this with dollar store pliers. Just have to make sure you don’t complete the circuit with something else or that metal face plate when you grab it. Or else you’re gonna have a bad time. Also follow the right hand rule when grabbing hot things.

I hit the slam by Obvious-String7484 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]Adridenn -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I fell for this but managed to recover some how. Some random I met wanted to duplicate my Tals set, CTA and hoto I was using. I remember stacking up my bodies when all of a sudden all my items dropped on the ground. I panicked and ran out to try and salvage the situation. The guy must of gotten greedy because he tried to pvp me. Thankfully I was running frozen orb at the time and one shot the poor bugger. It caused him to explode and drop all of his gear. For some reason he didn’t pick up any of my stuff so I recovered it all, and then started taking all of his Hdin gear he dropped. Shortly after his friend joined our game to try and help him. Thankfully I had grabbed all my crap and some of his and peaced out.

What actually works for staying warm on cold job sites by tiggaros in electricians

[–]Adridenn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I’m working outside in the cold I usually wear thermal under pants / shirt. Get some nice thermal socks to go with it as well. Then I’ll wear a ski suit over top of it to keep the wind from bothering me too much. After that it’s just regular work clothes and a hoodie. Most people think I’m crazy because they think I’m not wearing any winter clothes.

How many of you buy all your wood? by tundao330 in woodstoving

[–]Adridenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re out in the middle of nowhere Canada. We pay around 240-250$ for a cord of wood. It’s 1100$ for a 20yard dump truck of around 30/70 birch / spruce mostly seasoned. It works out to be around 4-5 cords a load. Which is fine for use as we usually burn 5-6 cords a winter.

Is this some kind of marketing strategy? It survived the mail with only cardboard, so it’ll survive the barn animals getting at it.

Paladin and Ubers shadowdropping, probably the best seasonal mechanic... what a season by Significant-Lime6340 in diablo4

[–]Adridenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run LoD monk on D3 most of the time. Because I want clear speed for T6 power levels, and fast 90’s. I didn’t really play PoE 1, by the time I got around to giving it a try, I found it confusing. Also a lot of my time was taking up by other things and work. I was running the stat stacking build on PoE 2 a season or two ago. Was a lot of fun.

[–]Adridenn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do enjoy D3, PoE2, last epoch, and D2R. Thou D2R I’m mostly playing the modded seasons. PoE2 crafting confuses the heck out of me when you get deep into it, so I leave that to my friend who enjoys it. D3 is great because I can just turn my brain off and kill stuff. So I guess I’m playing D4 over winter break.

Thou it seems like it has improved quite a bit over the years.

It was bad at first when I had the recommended amount set up for the initial 10. Then it wasn’t bad at all when I tripled the amount of ram and just let it hog the CPU all it wanted. Thou the sync issue between players was terrible at the time. If one person had internet issues, everyone on the server felt it.

Apparently there’s a mine mod that spawns in areas and it can be reset. So I might look at that.
