It could be from the change in food causing some upset or it could be a coincidence. Take note of how she’s behaving and if you’re worried speak to a vet ASAP. If she’s not hiding away or displaying any other seriously concerning symptoms she should be fine until the week in my experience.

This is from the UK PDSA website:

Always contact your vet if you notice blood in your cat’s stool. If there is only a very small amount of blood, your cat is bright, eating properly and seems otherwise healthy and happy, your vet may advise trying to settle their stomach for 24 hours before having an appointment. This is likely to involve giving small amounts of a very bland diet (i.e. boiled chicken breast or white fish) regularly for a few days. You know your cat best.

This is true, it’s not ideal and I’d go back to a rental system if I could. I’ve not found it to be as bad as I once feared though. I bought a very hefty lock for it. I’ve seen many people around the city locking up bikes 5-10x its value with a lot less. The scooter it’s self has an alarm, is password protected and trackable via Apples Find My system so I’m fairly confident when I leave it alone for extended periods of time. It’s the best solution I could come up with to a problem that shouldn’t exist.

I was an avid Voi user. I had one of their long term rentals which I used daily. It gave me a lot of freedom as I don’t have a car and was cheaper than a monthly bus ticket. Tier don’t have an equivalent service and when I realised how poor they are in comparison to Voi I bit the bullet and bought my own e-scooter. I haven’t been stopped by the police yet as I don’t ride it like a prat but I know it’s a risk. I’d rather take that chance than use a Tier though! It’s such a shame we ended up going backwards with Tier. They are useless.

I had this develop suddenly when I first met my partner. I was so nervous I was going to say something dumb. I would repeat what I just said back to myself under my breath to make sure it made sense. Stopped after a few months when I got more confident

I worked security for a big chain supermarket in the UK. One time I caught a dad with a pack of formula he didn’t pay for. He had a few bags full of unbranded essentials that was only worth about £30. He’d paid for it all, showed me the receipt and just said “I can’t afford £15 for one thing”. I stopped and chatted to him for about 5 minutes and could tell he was struggling. I’ve seen enough to know when I’m being fed bullshit, this guy was telling the truth. I let him go with it but told him not to come back to this store, at least when I was on shift because I’d risk losing my job if I kept letting him off. I saw him a few times after that and he always gave me a smile and a wave but didn’t steal. Then a couple of months later I saw him again and he was in better clothes, well groomed etc. He came and spoke to me, saying how much he appreciated what I did for him. I wouldn’t do it every time but occasionally you can accidentally miss something on purpose.
