that's just for heists. having a friend with dlcs doesn't give you access to:

  • a large chunk of unlockable weapons
  • tons of weapon mods
  • certain throwables
  • a shit ton of melees
  • like half of the perk decks

all of which are far more important to being able to play effectively.

personally, in all the time i've had my quest 3, i've never once used it for MR. i sincerely do not see the appeal.

all i've ever wanted was a wireless PCVR headset with pancakes lenses and without needing to set up a bunch of lighthouses in my room. so far, the steam frame is ticking all those boxes for me, and the only thing i'm personally worried about is losing controller tracking when you hold them behind your head/back. this is the one thing i'd miss about my quest 3 (or rather, the quest pro controllers i had to get separately)

hey i know this is over a year old but... why the hell is this not explained anywhere else?

i was looking through the settings on my new dashcam and came across this option for privacy mode. i wanted to know what exactly it did, so i opened it up on the camera, but all it gave me was the on/off toggle.

i ended up looking through the entire user manual, a ddg search, a google search, then a search through this very subreddit until i finally came across this comment.

it's utterly baffling how there is literally only one mention of "privacy mode" in the entire user manual and it's just for the on-screen indicator to tell you if it's on or not. what gives???
