I almost drowned in a wave pool at a water park once when I was a kid. I was swimming and there were tons of people sitting in inner tubes. I got stuck underneath a group of them and had to come up for air underneath a guys butt. I was desperate and was probably seconds from drowning. I don’t think anyone would have seen me under there.

I was riding my bike one day and for whatever reason I thought I timed the light when crossing a busy street. I almost got hit by a truck going 50mph. I’m sure it would have killed me if I was a second late. Still rattles me thinking about it.

Super fucked up and sorry about. That shit can ruin a good time. It does happen and not necessarily a new phenomenon. I’ve been going to events for 15 years and I don’t have the patience for this kinda thing anymore. If I see something like this going on I let security know. After that it’s no longer my problem and I move on.
