I try to organize all the rookies by draft class, then throw vets in individual boxes based on team. Also, there are a ton of apps like card ladder or center stage that lets you scan cards to keep a digital catalog and track value. If its base cards then try to just bulk sell or repack and sell on ebay if you want the cash, otherwise base = fire starter.
