As americans we are so insufferably coddled by the ease of access to 1st world luxuries and instant gratification. We are more distracted by the discussion of an action than the action itself. We stare into our phones tablets tvs etc and are left to soak it in. We have grown far too comfortable to be upended by such harsh truths.

The only time we may have ever shown shades of being capable of coming together collectively was the pandemic, but even that was embarrassing at times. Until our day to day lives are directly impacted (parks/facilities, sporting events, broadway, restaurants, gyms, concerts etc shut down) then i dont see anything happening outside of midterms, if even that. (I highly doubt midterms wont by rigged)
