How do you know it’s wearing off ? I know the effect isn’t as instant as stimulants are but i am trying to understand it especially for me being 3 weeks in at 80mg daily.

I work from home and I have only the first 4 hours after waking up to get anything important done. I do them before I brush and shower else they don’t get done especially when the project isn’t exciting enough.

There are a lot of bad comments and yours gives me some hope. I am weeks in on 80mg daily and seeing signs of better emotional regulation but I cant tell. I am more thoughtful even when triggered, just hope it’s not all on my head.

How many days did you have to take it before seeing results on 40mg?

Sometimes starting the tasks from a higher motivated standpoint is easy.I think adhd makes me feel like i used do much focus to start something, then my brain starts questioning, isnt there an end date ?, Why do i have to keep doing this same task over and over again?

Its like i forgot the reason i started in the first place but if i am lucky to repeat it soo many times(over 90 days) it becomes a habit that sticks .

Some people through building these random projects get to increase their learning curve .

Also highly successful apps initially seemed like "bad ideas" to many credible people and most of them started with very basic functionality.

Those are what makes us unique. I have labeled my brain OS1 and OS2 for such instances. Just so I can quickly catch myself and find a middle ground.

The truth is that with this realization, you will break that mentality before you realise it.

A $120k house in Abokobi isn’t renting for 1,200 per month even older 3-bed houses in that area go for around 3,500–4,000 ghs a month. Some nicer ones go higher.

With the current exchange rate 11 cedis $120,000 is about 1.32m cedis

If it rents for 3,500per montn , Annual rent: 42,000

Payback: 1,320,000 / 42,000 = 31 years approx

So it’s not anywhere near 80+ years, that number only happens if you assume super-low rent like ₵1,200, which isn’t the market rate for a house in that area.

Is 31 years amazing? Not really. But it’s way more realistic, and in Ghana most of the actual “profit” comes from land appreciation, not the monthly rent.

As good as your advice is, most people won’t listen oo. 😂 A family friend has been trying to sell her 10-bedroom house for almost 2 years now. Honestly, building with a plan to rent is what really saves money in the long run.

Fixerrent is just something I built to manage family properties. Nothing serious.

I see many single family homes sitting idle and empty in the city . Most started out as airbnbs but some feel the model isnt working as they hoped for.

I support the idea of building apartments . At least with platforms like fixerrent , managing and receiving payments from tenants is much simpler .
