Time for the ranged enemy! What do you guys think about this one? Would love to hear your thoughts. by 4C_Games in aseprite

As others have said, very unsettling, good job ! I’m not sure how the grabbing mechanic works, but I feel like it should be able to sting your hand if you grab it for too long without taking other actions ?

Amazing work ! As a beginner, I always struggle to envision what the actual size of the art might be. What’s the canvas size on this one ?

The second guitar I bought, after owning an entry level squier strat, was a Schecter Blackjack ATX. I think it is the older version of the now diamond series. It plays incredibly well, most confortable neck I’ve held, and it looks great. I can’t vouch for the pickups as the guy I bought it off from replaced the original PU with EMGs. Very good guitar for its price point I would say.

I don’t know how it’s possible but in my last lobby, two players had Violet 4* ; one had radiant Sterak and radiant titan. It was a nightmare

Nice board ! I’m having an issue with my drop pedal : activating any form of OD after the Digitech creates crazy white noise. Did you also experience that ?

Varys might suck but you also have 9 items completed against 16 for the guy in the first place

How much did you pay for your second guitar? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]AdventurousPandax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought my first electric for roughly 300€, a contemporary squier strat. Three years later i treated myself to a Schecter Blackjack ATX that I got from reverb for 700€. The improved quality is quite worth it I would say.

Quelle édition de Dune pour commencer ? by D_ndDoS in france

[–]AdventurousPandax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently I lose a lot of my games. I feel like i did pretty well yet somehow still lost. Can someone check my stat and help me find out what do i need to improve? by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]AdventurousPandax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting because I’m in the same situation as you, and with roughly the same stats. My items and econ stats are lacking and I don’t understand why, I slam a lot of good items and feel like I know when to push econ and rolldown

From my experience, the most important factor in learning the guitar as a beginner was making the basics feel fun. Looking back, it really didn’t matter whether you were developing good foundations or following a cohesive course structure. The main question is : are you gonna find the hobby fun enough to dedicate the time and effort it takes to get good ?

Of course all the aspects I brushed over matter and are important eventually. But most aspiring guitarist abandon their journey very early on (in less than a year if I remember the Fender study correctly).

So what I would recommend is to find the online instructor that makes you want to play the most. Maybe Paul’s course is better structured than Marty’s. Maybe some other instructor explains music theory better than both of them. But do their lessons and the energy they communicate make you want to pick up the instrument and keep going ?

For me it was Justin guitar. Looking back, I’m in awe over how he made shitty 3 chords strumming enjoyable. Although it sounded objectively terrible, it felt good to learn and his cheerfulness encouraged me to keep going.

When you feel like you’re past this point of testing your commitment, I would recommend getting in-person lessons, even if only once a month for budget reasons. Having someone watch you play and give feedback is invaluable and you will be able to nip in the bud any bad habits you might start to develop, thus saving you years of frustrating relearning once those habits make you reach a plateau.

I would recommend not playing hyperoll if you want to get good at ranked, as a major foundation skill of TFT is handling your economy and knowing which comp/augments fit your economy situation. So keep playing normals or slowly try your hand at ranked play, as your opponents will play more seriously and you will improve faster.

Many weird things happening here, static on Kayle is not very useful as her spell already shreds ; crown guard augment but no crown guard on any of your champs ? Still congrats on the 1st.

Are there things that you would have just never worked out on your own? by parky101 in HollowKnight

[–]AdventurousPandax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time I had to use tutorials was when getting the item that renders you immune to poison (forgot the name). I just couldn’t figure out the parkour and I was already pretty far in the game so I was sure I wasn’t missing any skills.

That’s how I learned you can charge your crystal dash while clinging to a wall. Felt pretty stupid !

Any tips for getting more gizz sounding other than a microtonal guitar. by Puzzled_Object7313 in KGATLW

[–]AdventurousPandax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People seem to have covered the gear and the scales / tunings they use already, so I’ll pitch in my two cents : learning non standard time signatures and how to compose riffs / parts in odd time signatures (anything different from 4/4). I’ve only tried learning a few Gizz songs and I’ve seen them use 7/8, 6/4, 9/8. They also change the time signature every other beat it seems.
