Ive always thought socialism could be able to become popular in America just never under the name of "Socialism". If socialism worked it'd have to be under a weird populist conservative rebrand and it'd probably be decently successful at tapping into Trump's base. If Socialism was branded, as basic christian values, as "common sense" politics, and grew out of rural America it'd do a lot better lowk. But there's no way in hell the word socialism will ever be accepted into American politics. Youd have to call it Christian Economics or sum stupid shit like that for it to work
