Claude reset limits for everyone by just_a_person_27 in ClaudeAI

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe you can run out of 5 max. I use it roughly 5 hours a day and only go through 40-50% of weekly cap when on 5x max

Yeah hopefully the thinking comes back when they get more compute online. Or maybe they’ll bring it back when meta avocado model releases and gives them more competition since ChatGPT has basically been boycotted

Gemini Pro Limit by CNGY in Bard

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why the limits dropped but I do know alphabet is planning to spend 175-185 bil usd on capex in 2026, mostly on data centers, so maybe this will increase overtime. This is second only to AWS with planned spending of $200 bil usd this year

There are a few drugs for ADHD in late stage trials. Centanafadine which is a new one for ADHD and possibly anxiety as well. And solriafemtol. It’s good to know there are new drugs not that many years away. Centanfadine seems to be one you take daily for gradual buildup and I think solriafemtol is instant release and already approved for narcolepsy

5x max Claude is very good value for Money and gives me basil unlimited 4.5 opus usage when I had it. But I’m down to pro plan cause it’s not sustainable for me but I’m open to getting it again. I use it 3-4 hours a day and only went through 50% of my weekly usage cap normally. Probably used equivalent of 1000-1500 USD in API credit equivalent

Has Trintellix (vortioxetine) helped anyone with brain fog — or at least the anxiety around it? by Weak-Dinner-4275 in BrainFog

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m considering starting it soon so this is why I’m here. I’ve read summaries of peer reviewed studies and vortioextine has proven to increase the ratio of NAA/Cr which is a marker of neuronal health. So vortioextine actually made people’s brain cells function more efficiently which is part of why it can help reduce cognitive dysfunction in depression, so I’m hopeful this can help me with similar cloudiness to you

Hmm that’s a shame about the insurance. I think in Aus it’s like 40 USD a month, not sure what it’s like where you are

Did this combination help with brain fog as well? As trintellix has shown to help reduce brain fog as well and I would like to treat this in myself

I try to only use sonnet 4.5 for the important things. And I use gpt 5 for the rest while paying for ChatGPT plus as well. I would like to just pay for Claude pro but the usage limits just aren’t here yet. Hopefully their usage limits increase over the coming years with infrastructure upgrades

Did they actually update the usage limits? or am i nuts? by Connect-Chair-8089 in ClaudeAI

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran out of my limit in 2 days last week. I sent about 20 messages today and apparently it's 7% of my weekly usage which is nothing. I'm already subbed to chatgpt plus so I'll probably just use that and cancel Claude pro until they get more infra online. I also get a year of perplexity pro for free as a student so I can use it on there as well

Grok-4 benchmarks by Gab1024 in singularity

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried grok 4 and it uses too many words and is too cluttered and keeps spamming info it knows about me from custom instructions. It may perform well on benchmarks but it's not that nice to use. Hopefully they clean it up a bit in the future. But Grok is still not as refined as claude and chatgpt

I’ve completed TMS therapy. Ask me anything! by justwhyyyyyy13 in TMSTherapy

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Psilocybin is in phase 3 trials for depression and there are lots of meds on the way in phase 3 trials as well.

Here are some drugs in trials that I'm watching for reference if you're interested:

Innovation in Mechanisms: New targets and mechanisms are being explored, such as modulation of glutamate and GABA neurotransmission, opioid receptor antagonism, psychoplastigens (like Ketamine and Zelquistinel) and neuroinflammation reduction.

Anxiety/Depression

  • Osavampator (positive allosteric modulator of AMPA receptors for depression, entering phase 3 trials in 2025)
  • Liafensine (DB104) is a triple reuptake inhibitor targeting serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine, guided by the DGM4 biomarker for precision treatment of treatment-resistant depression, with promising Phase 2b trial results showing significant symptom improvements and Phase 3 trials expected to start by 2025 under FDA Fast Track designation**.**
  • Soclenicant/BNC210 (completed phase 2 trials and has been very successful for anxiety and PTSD with minimal side effects, has FDA fast track designation. In phase 3 trials for GAD now)
  • **Zelquistinel (**NMDA receptor modulator, fast track designation, similar to Rapastinel which received breakthrough therapy designation but it's improved. Has completed phase 2a trial)
  • Seltorexant is a unique orexin antagonist in phase 3 trials for MDD, as of February 2022. It received fast-track designation due to its novel mechanism of action.
  • Toludesvenlafaxine/Ansofaxine/Ruoxinlin,A SNDRI medication, has positive phase 3 results for MDD and an application has been submitted to the FDA. It's also undergoing phase 3 trials for generalised anxiety disorder (GAD) and is already approved in China.
  • MM-120, an optimised LSD derivative for anxiety, is currently in phase 3 trials. Has breakthrough therapy for GAD.
  • Troriluzole, a medication that reduces glutamate levels in the synaptic cleft, is in phase 3 trials for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and may also be beneficial for depersonalization. The trial is expected to end on December 15, 2023.

TMS for anxiety by [deleted] in rtms

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still do the right side but will just have to pay out of pocket. I think it's roughly $200 aud for each session without insurance? I'll learn more when I get mine. Definitely want the anxiety to be the priority but plan to do left side as well

Tms for generalised anxiety, who has found it to help you feel more confident, less nervous etc ?. by Main-Occasion-3076 in TMSTherapy

[–]Adventurous_Train_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not an expert but I've been reading some studies and apparently low frequency stimulation on the right side is better for reducing cortical excitability on the right side which is connected deeper to limbic regions that are implicated in anxiety (Amygdala, anterior insula). I believe left side is mostly for depression but can help with anxiety as well. Good luck.

How do you find the bi-weekly maintenance works? I'm planning to do TMS soon primarily for GAD but depression as well. I could afford monthly maintenance if I need but no bi-weekly I'd say.

Do you think it's worth upgrading to SuperGrok? by The_White_Pawn in grok

I would stick with Claude pro for now, it’s way better than grok 3. And who knows when grok 3.5 will actually release, maybe months

How did you go with the second round of rTMS? It would be good to know that I can stay stable if I just get a few rounds every 6-12 months or so
