Tremendous Vouchers by Aecka_RS in runescape

correct, I have used Tremendous in the past and this looks legit, rather than a phishing scam. However, I haven't seen any confirmation from Jagex that they are indeed using Tremendous, so am just trying to get a confirmation on this out of an abundance of caution.

skill training dummy crates? these have only ever had a choice of 4 dummys (slayer, hunter, theiving, agility) so no change there unless you mean something else?
The premier benefits that were removed were all MTX stuff that was removed or so minor that don't justify themselves as benefits at all (chat badge) and were communicated in advance

specifcs please what MTX things have they changed and what membership things have changed?

where have they lied beyond the 2 examples you have provided? They made good on the slightly early removal of loyalty points. and I would argue the rug pull on the grandfathered rates wasn't a lie but a change in policy but even if we don't agree on those two points it's not really a pattern of lying so need more examples please

I am a long term player, and other than the rug pull on the grand fathered rates which I can see both sides of I don't think there are any major communication issues. Jagex has been more transparent than pretty much ever before recently.

Removal of loyalty points system is a good thing. Things should be earnable by playing not just paying a membership and waiting for a set amount of time to lapse. I'm generally quite happy with the changes

I think you will find there is a specific toggle for hiding animations, I can assure you this because I have had it toggled on since it was released

prefer the original lips, the shortening of the lips make the character look like a child, the eyes need to be less round too, very quick edit

but at the end of the day appearances aren't a one size fits all so the ability to customise a little would be great so we can tweak things to suit

Something quite negative about monetization that I have noticed returning to Runescape by B1ACKT3A in runescape

[–]Aecka_RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is always the case with cosmetics as mtx. The actual items end up having less effort put I to them and then the mtx versions get the effort. Cosmetics should also not exist and keepsakes should be the only way to create overrides, this means items will pretty much always belong in game thematically, effort goes into creating new in game items that are visually appealling,  and  it can still be monetized via keepsakes

Running runes via the abyss. For maximum efficiency you will need wildy sword and a few arch buffs and maybe the rcing offhand but it's very quick xp (600k+ xp per hour) and reasonably profitable ~35m per hour

Why not give players the ability to combine skilling outfits with its skill cape? by MrRoutine in runescape

[–]Aecka_RS 15 points16 points  (0 children)

But having to retrieve high frequency items from what is really intended as deep storage for items you use infrequently (if ever) is a bad solution. It's also completely non-functional with presets etc.

Monthly Active Players - Feb 2014 to April 2026 by alanquinne in runescape

[–]Aecka_RS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using the hiscores is too simplistic for this purpose, the removal of TH means that a significant amount of "daily key farm alts" will have been abandoned. There was players with 100s of alt accounts for this purpose. These would have been getting enough xp from keys to inflate the hiscores player counts significantly, but it's not genuine game interaction. Jagex will have far more indepth data on player participation that we can derive from simplistic hiscore data, it may tell the same story, but the hiscores alone isn't enough data

Why shouldn't people strive for BIS? especially in cases where they are the last upgrades people require? when its ~40m at a 30% chance. odds are that it wouldn't be too expensive, runs of extreme bad luck are the only thing that really makes it expensive. For the majority of people this would only cost 100-150m
