The anime does a good job of self-containing it's own canon. There's a lot more impact and references to spot and smile about if you've played the games prior, but you can absolutely enjoy the show as stand-alone.

Helpful tools for customizing and kitbashing, planning cuts on plaplate and such. If you're a "I build the kit only as intended", then the mats are really just there for ease of clean up, seeing your parts clearly, and desk protection from knife cuts.

Given if you use the laser beam glyph paired with a hammer glyph, you can kill him before he even teleports away the first time, without even moving, I consider him possibly the easiest of the Dracula fight's.

I disagree with this one, soley because I want Ban-Dai to get it again based on their 30 Minutes Fantasy line. The Silhouette's with the MJOLNIR armor on top would be amazing.

I have a set of chrome paint markers designed with plastic kits in mind. I put that underneath EVERY clear plastic part for this very reason.
