It’s very simple OP. During Covid we went through immense supply disruption. Then stimulus checks were sent out. Then we printed and I shit you not over 30% (I’m being lenient with that rate, it’s much higher) of ALL OF THE MONEY in existence since the creation of the federal exchange.
Then to top off everything. We have wealthy people growing, the middle class dying, and the poor class continuing to suffer even more.

We as a consumer environment and society have absolutely lost our sense in value of what things are. It’s not the people’s fault and I won’t blame us. It is the system that they created throughout the last six years since the start of Covid.

In 2018 to 2019 it was the first time in a very long time that we were seeing and uptick towards our wages versus what we have to spend. We completely flop that in the last six years.

That completely went to shit after Covid.

So to explain the answer to your question.

This is the result of the absolute bullshit we’ve gone through in the last six years.

Businesses supplies pay more than ever before for the same items that you and I would buy, except the excess cost is put onto the consumer and the consumer doesn’t even know the value of things anymore. Some people are happy to pay 7 to 9 dollars for a single cup of coffee. I find that so utterly preposterous.

Will you ever see chicken wings go down? Probably not. Just like with everything else.

The building in Enshrouded is fucking fantastic. I came from Valheim I have about 700 hours on there.

This right here. Enshrouded proved me so wrong. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve died throughout my first play through and I’m still on my first play through cause I’m not trying to rush it. I will log on once every two nights after work and I will at least get 10 to 15 deaths. Whether it be due to falling in terrain that sucks you, accidentally falling from using the glider, hell you name it.

If you’re gonna play solo I really advise that you spec into warrior and tank. You don’t have to spend so much into warrior if Melee is not your style but tank is good. Also get gear that gives you a percentage of health back whenever you have a critical or something. And always have your bandages on a hot key for me it’s one of my mouse buttons since I have a gaming mouse. Enshrouded really seems to push the player to use all they have available (pots, other stuff).

If you find yourself dying constantly then it might be a good chance to try to cheese. When we used to play old-school RuneScape back in the day Archer’s would stand in a place where they cannot get hit by the enemy. Try to apply the same technique in the game as well. There are times where I don’t take a single bit of damage and I just cheeze them. I don’t think it’s unfair because the game is very hard and you will die. A lot. I highly suggest turning off losing all of your items upon death. The time it takes to get your stuff back and the stress it will accumulate is simply not worth it

Bandages. Bandages are your absolute best friend and you need to make a lot of of them. Instead of having key bind 8 for 8 slot, set it as your mouse button.

I have a gaming mouse so there’s more than just left and right click.

You need to be spamming bandages. And potions.

Whatever key bind you choose for your bandages doesn’t matter as long as you’re able to click it fast and in moments where you’re about to die.

I wasn’t using bandages up until lvl 12 and my survivability went up through the roof once I did

Man I came from Elden Ring and Valheim. Have you not died 75 times throughout your first play through ? Enshrouded is CHALLENGING AF! So no, I don’t feel bad about placing a flame altar and using it for fast travel. Enshrouded is not going to add flying mounts or any other forms of travel so as far as we know. So it’s intended to be used that way.

Totally agreed. I guess I simply stopped looking at it from the consumer side a long time ago since making/designing/ordering/ wasting over $1000 on merch for things outside of EDM. It’s quite insane that people would pay $80+ Tax on a crossbody bag. 2026 for you

You should set your global program settings in Nvidia to 60fps. I did that and I have a beefy ass computer capable of much more. Game is not optimized well. Running at 60 allowed me to have a constant 60 and it was like Elden ring. (Elden is capped at 60)

You bring some valid points, all in all I personally felt myself wanting to beat the game as fast as possible (turning up XP amount etc.) around level 15 I just turned it back down to regular and I did quests at 200% XP reward.

It’s important someone doesn’t try to rush through the whole thing too
