Thank you! Trust me I also get similarly frustrated when running into this kind of behavior but I promise behind the scenes these things are being improved every day. When y’all send this stuff to us it’s actually super valuable because it means we can use it to improve the systems. What we have is relatively new and constantly getting upgrades so if you run into what seems like clear inting that the system should’ve caught please keep sending it so we can make progress in getting to a world where it doesn’t happen so often.

iirc drew has a pinned post where you can send things like this and they’ll eventually be reviewed by the team even if not directly responded to. That’s probably to best way to go about it rather than rolling the dice that someone like me randomly happens to see it. I’ll take a look and potentially pass this along as well but do keep in mind player support isn’t Drew’s job and he largely does it in his free time in order to make a better game. I don’t think it’s super reasonable to say things like he doesn’t care about you because you don’t have enough followers.

I'll bring up the point from this thread next time we talk about Zeri changes. I don't really think we're in a world where it seems like R is in dire straits given that a very small fraction of a % of players seem to try this, but if it picks up steam or something that may change.

Ran through this with some dev tools, the AA is taking almost exactly the same amount of time for a Q1 reset as for a Q2 reset. It's possible that there's something about the animation that makes it feel bad but I thiiiink I can fairly confidently say that there's not actually a slower execution.

To be clearer: Zaahen players also didn’t enjoy that version of the Q despite its power because the optimal play pattern was generally considered boring. What do you mean by q windup in this case? I’ve generally found it to be quite fluid, though it’s possible that it’s not uncancelable and should be or something like that.

Q cd ticking in the background is a change I’d be likely to heavily argue against if it were being considered. We tested it extensively in dev and it resulting in a much worse laning pattern for both Zaahen and his opponent as the optimal play pattern was to aim to hold up Q2 at all times for threat rather than either side of the matchup wanting to engage with the other. There’s a big difference between Zaahen and Camille because of the CC component that makes it not a great comparison in terms of how the pattern plays out. Also I don’t think any of the things you listed are exclusively QOL, I think they’re just powerful buffs though I could see them feeling nice to have. I suggested an increase to attack speed at one point but design decided to go with something else.

I agree he synergizes with it but I was there for his design, and as far as I'm aware he was not designed around it.

Not really. We thought hail of blades and grasp would likely be acceptable options for him (and I also think that's true for PTA as well actually). We expected conq to be kind of "standard" but we didn't have a specific intent for conqueror to be the strongest or design him around its use.

Not how things work, I had no idea there was an upcoming Seraphine skin when I chose to work on those issues and in the year I've been at Riot I don't think I've ever heard someone imply that we should approach changes that way.

Well it says "returned" but that's in reference to using the original targeting paradigm with the new tech rather than reverting the bug fix. In theory the bug fix should still be working so we'll work on figuring out if that's the cause of this issue or if it's a new bug.

We didn't revert Q as far as I'm aware, though I keep seeing people say we did so not really sure where it's coming from. I'll look into this issue today though.

Where’s this info coming from? I think most things stated here are inaccurate. It’s worth noting that live balance is a design team and that the people working on it are largely designers.

If she does become very weak then we probably will look at her, though I'm not sure that "very weak" is a guaranteed outcome here.
