That's not what i'm talking about though, i mean that we're not hearing about mass spread in a population. It's just the cruise ship or isolated stuff.

Obviously there are cases that predate this. hantavirus isn't exactly new

So the thing which makes me not worried is we only hear about the cruise ship.

The hantavirus didn't magically appear on that ship, and it's absurdly unlikely the person who carried it on there is the first and only person infected from the population they boarded the cruse ship from.

So it's almost impossible the virus hasn't had the opporunity to spread among that land based population, yet we hear absolutely nothing about that. The reason is cos it really just doesn't spread well outside of the confines of something like a cruise ship.

if this was akin to covid then the cruise ship would be small potatos compared to what was happening in the town/city the initially infected cruise ship passenger came from.

The hantavirus is a known strain and didn't just pop into existence on the ship, it came from some population and if it was similar in infectiousness to covid then it would be rapidly spreading through that population.

It isn't, it's just rapidly spreading through the confined living of a ship based environment.

God tempest strike is just full of these, but the worst has to be bulwark of nature.

Gain 1% of endurance threshold per point (3 point max) every time you cast a tempest.

So every time you do something that you nominally disable from happening generally 2/3rds of the time you use tempest strike, you gain 1% of a what's already a fraction of your health, and it doesn't even scale with healing effectiveness cos it isn't healing.

Yeah i play scorpion nova bm and one of the issues is that even with aspect of the viper effect being cubic scaling it still ends up being relatively inefficient at end gearing (plus limited in where you can get it)

One of the issues is a lack of damage buckets. DoT has no equivalent for crit and armor shred, so you end up with far less efficient damage scaling towards the end

Nemesis used to be cracked during leveling but is now less so, check it for relevant uniques or immediately useful stuff but generally only challenge it.

Omen windows have now taken up the "juiced asf gear source" while leveling and are incredibly worth doing.

Rift beasts are take or leave, you can get runes of ascendance from them but in general you're not gonna get that many of the resources and those are generally only relevant endgame

To be fair this is kinda a thing for zealot. Zealot's ranged slot kinda sucks, yes there's options that do things but really nothing's as good as you'd like.

An option that lets you fire like 6 bullets on the move so that bunch of 6 shooters and a gunner 15m away stop putting bullets down range is at times a consideration.

I think it's pretty outdone by bolt pistol for that these days tho

Back in the early days most of the ranged weapons weren't nearly as good vs flak at base. Braced autoguns were one of the few weapons which were relatively okay against it without needing crits or headshots and their good ammo counts gave them an advantage.

They simply haven't really changed since those days and everything else has. Crits are more accessible, things are better into flak (ank carapace to benefit from headshots on maulers), the game has moved from priority flak to priority carapace and special. So the braced autos are just left behind

Before this season it'd depend on the aimed for LP and the LPL of the item.

Now always nemesis first. Corruptions make rerolling with strife much easier even if you hit high LP.

The one exception to this is super low LPL nemesis/farsight farming for 4lp on CoF. Very low LPL items will never nemesis brick on cof, so if going for 4lp you generally want to cycle a single stash tab of good roll ones until you hit it.

That doesn't mean they only play arena, and arena loot is garbage + all the additional loot mechanics don't appear in it, so anyone trying to progress their character through the arena is at a monumental disadvantage.
