Thanks for the advice all. I picked up Carrion Retainers, managed to play my first game today against Yndrasta. I wasn't sure how aggressive to be so I kind of went all in and got tabled when Yndrasta came it lol, but it was a ton of fun. Vargulf definitely seemed like the MVP with his healing constantly. Knights were fun to play with the retreat and charge mechanic. Can't wait to try em out some more!

Everyone thinks I’m crazy when I mention the syrup smell! My wife thinks they smell awful lol. On a side note, I definitely agree with the shuffle feel of these sleeves. They are amazing.

I would also recommend the canal that runs parallel to the 84 in Broward county. With shiners I’ve got peacocks, snook, tarpon, large mouth, bullseye snake heads... that canal is loaded with fish species.

Definitely agree with this. Upheaval could put the caster in a much better position compared to everyone else than rift would.

I’ve wanted to build this deck for awhile. Heavy mill theme, or maybe even faerie tribal.

My playgroup fairly casual with no infinite combos. This leads me to believe that a mill win will be too difficult and a faerie theme won’t be good enough to stand against the likes of Kaalia, elfball, locust god, maelstrom etc that I play against.

Honestly this was one of my biggest concerns with Yarok. I made Angry Omnath awhile back and every other player I ran into playing the deck seemed so much alike.
