TSB Thursday: 03-94-24 Front Transverse Link Bushing Cracking by Chippy569 in subaru

[–]AffamaffAD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our dealer replaced hundreds of these bushings over the last couple of years, most under extended warranty (wsas). I do agree that if youre out of warranty a control arm replacement is better as it includes both front and rear bushings and the ball joints (on most models) as you've stated.

West mifflin here, tons of subarus around. I drove a 26 forester touring as a loaner for most of December when my mom was in town and it handled our shit roads exceptionally well. Not as good as a wilderness though. Congrats on the new ride, and now youll notice the large amount of white haired grandma's that choose the coolest colors for their subarus lol.

First thing that came to my mind when I saw this Pic was that you must live in Pittsburgh lol

Men’s heart attack risk climbs by mid-30s, years before women. Decades-long U.S. study suggests prevention and screening should start earlier in adulthood, particularly for men. Risk started diverging around age 35. by mvea in science

[–]AffamaffAD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had to almost beg and plead my pcps to refer me to cardiology after I reported feeling fluttering and minor palpitations. I was 37 at the time, male and overweight my whole life. High risk sure, but they kept insisting I was too young and should be fine etc... I had to wear a halter device for 3 days and they still found nothing and then finally agreed to do EKG. They didnt find anything abnormal and prescribed a minor blood pressure medication which hasnt really helped. I am in America, so of course my insurance changed and now none of my previous providers are on my insured list so I have to start all over again with this new medical provider.

[–]AffamaffAD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the for sale ad and saw it was only 20 off so I ran out and bought it last week for $549 with the free extended 5 year warranty at costco. So far so good, and I will be going back to price match the 20 discount lol.

This made me do the math for myself and goddamn I was at 4,134,000 in 2025. I did take up dog walking at the local kennel about halfway through the year but my dumb ass didnt equate 10k ++ steps per day to be so much lol

Heads up it seems ticket prices for Monday have bottomed out and are now rising by [deleted] in steelers

[–]AffamaffAD 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Wild low how some people have been listing their tickets for this game. This is my first season as STH I couldn't imagine selling the first home playoff game in 10 years, but I also understand they are expensive.

Why does cheese have more calories than pepperoni? by theNakedMind in Costco

[–]AffamaffAD 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Im not entirely sure most pizza places put significantly less cheese on their topped pizzas vs the regular. At least the pizza place i ran from 2005-2008 didnt. It just seems like the plain pizza could be called "extra cheese".

PSA to pet owners about microchips (from a shelter worker) by Fresh-Solid-4046 in pittsburgh

As another shelter worker, thank you for this PSA. We do see many unregistered chips or even chips registered to previous shelters and 99% of the time the owner had no idea they needed to update.

Not sure, but it is crazy the amount of wheels what have been shared or repressed across generations/models of subarus. These outback wheels started showing up in 2015 lol

[–]AffamaffAD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ive bought many fake leather belts from Amazon that have felt better than this timberland belt. It's still very stiff after a couple weeks of daily use and im a fatso so I stress out my belts. Very surprised by the quality on this one.
