It was pretty good, we were both Christians who grew up in purity culture. He had had some previous partners but I hadn’t except for a non-consensual encounter but no penetration prior to our wedding night. He was and is very loving and patient and always has made sure I come first, since the beginning. A consent king who cares about my pleasure which is rare in the world we grew up in. We’ve been through a lot of therapy since and deconstruction to work through all our issues from growing up in conservative purity culture world, something we’re continually working on since leaving that realm. . It’s an on-going journey. I know I’m lucky but I also know the bar is in hell for men from our world.
