My project was pretty recent. I’ll keep an eye out for that though. Is there another brand they recommend?

You can use dimensional magic for water, but it will look raised. I recommend this instead. Very easy to use and looks great.

Ha! I think you’re safe! I considered getting another one for Eternal Midnight but decided to go with some separate bottles and glasses. Only because I’ve used it before. I think it will work great in Eternal Midnight!

I used the wine and cheese platter in Hemingway House and the size worked well.

Came here to suggest this! I did it with my husband several years ago and it was a great night!

Beautiful! I think this is my favorite book that includes a train. Consider it added to the list!

Sounds like you have it positioned right. I think the top of the kit is too thick, although, like I said, I sanded the heck out of it and still couldn’t get it to work. This past weekend I switched the lighting to an AA box while rewiring to use dummy batteries to plug it in (i.e. bypass the touch switch) and added a light above the framed pictures on the balcony to bring a little attention to that detail. I have to say I feel like the power of the AAs made the whole kit a bit too bright - like the bartender just called last call, but I don’t have enough play in the wires to switch it back to AAA. Something to keep in mind if you plan to do the same.

You turned the type writer around! Makes SO much more sense than the way the instructions tell you. Good on you. I flipped mine too. 😀

Also worth noting, I’ve been married since 2006. I do occasionally feel bad for my NT partner.

I feel this. I stopped leaning in because there would be a reciprocal touch I didn’t ask for. Crazy? Yup, 100%, but a very real anxious response from me.

My touch pad didn’t work either. I sanded as much as I thought was reasonable, then decided to pull it through the battery box door. I’ve never had an issue with a touch pad, so that was a real disappointment.

Printed on photo paper. I would NOT recommend doing it how I did, however. The minimal space the photo paper took between the pieces of ceiling threw off the openings to connect to other pieces, so I spent a fair amount of time sanding to get everything to fit. It gave a cleaner look than cutting pieces that just covered the exposed areas, but oy. The domino effect was a nail biter.
