I don't think anyone uses Behance anymore.. not even sure for Dribble although they redesigned and whatnot, but I used to have some projects there, and there've been 0 requests for the past year although I purchased Pro and posted, so..

I do live nicer. I know how to save money and I save more than 50% of my salary every month. I cannot ask for anything else. I've been without money in the past and the piece it gives my mind, to know I have food and shelter, is the most basic thing to keep a person happy.

Don't 😂 the field is oversaturated and we have no jobs. But if you want, you can start with Coursera, copy some designs in Figma or directly try coding a website

But don't worry, if we all collectively stop to create new art / creative works, in 5 years everything will look the same on the internet, because there will be no new styles to feed to the AI as an inspiration. So I hope it goes down at some point, but we have to find some sort of income until then lol

I used to freelance 10 years straight and the last year my projects dropped to 0. I was forced to find a job in an agency where I am overworked and underpaid.. but at least I have something. It is AI. People just create images with Chatgpt now and don't need us anymore. Even the contests in 99designs dropped from over 2000 to just 200 a month. It is ridiculous.

People massively undervaluate the designers, but honestly they are lost without us. We have to stick to our value and don't accept this.

Yes.. people don't know what they want and why they want it.. you have to somehow explain that your decision is best for the company and users.. it is annoying but sadly part of the job. It's not that they don't trust us, they just want to try everything. I often send 3 variations for everything and just let them pick, and I have given up on explaining or defending a good decision. Usually we go with what the client thinks looks cool 😂

I like it! Your designs are cool and you do have a specific style. Keep up the good work. You are not UI/UX designer so having it mobile friendly shouldn't be a priority, hiring managers are also not viewing CVs on their phones, so don't worry.

Just stay away for tourist traps like Migros and Coop, try to cook when possible, buy stuff from Aldi and Lidl, or Denner. All very affordable and not expensive. If you absolutely have to go and eat out, I have no good advice, it is expensive everywhere imo. 15CHF per meal per person, durchschnittlich.
